Ben did a spectacular job on my super complex plumbing project. Added a new bathroom, altered plumbing in two bathrooms being remodeled as well as fixed my main sewer line and did a number of custom tweaks around the house. Not to mention his discriminative eye for exquisite detail........ he installed three unusual and rare high tank toilets in my house without a hitch. Ben was reliable, prompt, professional, kind to my dog and completely knocked it our if the park. I have zero reservations recommending Ben for any plumbing job regardless of complexity. The dude is a plumbing wizard!

Ben of Whitelaw Plumbing is SOLID. He repaired a leaky bathroom pedestal sink drain, found just inside the wall above the crawlspace under the bathroom (so hard to reach and fix). His bid was 3 times (not exaggerating) lower than the other 3 bids I received. Everyone else was convinced the pedestal sink needed to be removed to access the space and Ben thought he could fix it without that extra costly step. And he did! And because it took him even less time than he projected, he charged me less than the estimate at the end. Unreal and much appreciated! And above all, Ben is a decent human being that's not only skilled, but also honest, efficient, and warm. He is our family plumber now.

He was on time for the appointment and went right to work fixing the issue and was done in a timely manner. I take my time and try to do some research on people or businesses I hire when I need work done on my home, so I decided to go with Ben and was really pleased by his professional manner and expertise.

I contacted Whitelaw Plumbing for a sump pump replacement. I called the number they list as their primary contact method, which goes to a machine. I was redirected to their email address and wrote them an email 11 days ago, but ultimately got no response. Time wasted.

I acknowledge that plumbers get busy and cannot always take all jobs, but the other plumbers I contacted all responded promptly (2 declined the work, and 1 took and completed the job).

Plumbing work tends to be time-sensitive, so I would be wary of working with someone who may or may not reply to messages more often than once every 2 weeks.
