When I began the industry of home repair, I discovered how expensive it could be to engage someone for home repairs. Determined to change that, I vowed that when I launched my own business, I would not charge unreasonable prices. I know the importance of affordable pricing. I was brought to carpentry at the age of 14. I quickly discovered that I had a gift for it. Additionally, I enjoyed it. You can earn a respectable living in this trade. However, when I saw what the owner of the company I worked for was charging customers, I was stunned. Electrical contractors charge from $85 to $100 an hour, while carpenters typically ask for over $300 for an 8-hour day. And we all know the challenges of calling a plumber! Thus, I chose to create Whiteknight Carpentry to assist people in avoiding the high costs of home repair and improvement. I can do what they can do, but I won’t bill you close to what they will.
