As licensed and insured Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning experts, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists, We are a licensed Louisiana General Contractor, with active License No. 33722, originally issued in 1998. We are licensed in various areas including building construction, municipal work, public works, and specialty construction. We hold accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, a testament to our commitment.

Established in 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. offers general contracting, design-build, construction program management, and building services. Rooted in southwest Louisiana, our legacy has grown into a second generation, emphasizing that “Quality comes First.” Initially known as Lewis Plumbing & Heating, our founder was Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. With seven sons, Mr. Lewis passed the leadership to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who shifted the business to New Orleans in 1983.

We oversee the effective development of foundations and structural rebuilds. We cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I lead and inspire teams of up to 10 in-house employees along with various subcontractors. I oversee daily operations, subcontractor arrangements, quality control, job site coordination, and client meetings.
