As licensed and insured Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning experts, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists, We are a licensed Louisiana General Contractor, with active License No. 33722, originally issued in 1998. Our licenses cover building construction, municipal projects, public works, and specialty construction. We hold accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, a testament to our commitment.

Since 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. has been delivering general contracting, design-build, construction program management, and building services. Our strong foundation in southwest Louisiana has allowed our legacy to extend to a second generation, where “Quality comes First.” Initially known as Lewis Plumbing & Heating, our founder was Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. had seven sons, and leadership passed to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who moved the business to New Orleans in 1983.

We oversee the effective development of foundations and structural rebuilds. We build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I manage and encourage teams of up to 10 in-house employees and multiple subcontractors. I supervise daily operations, subcontractor arrangements, quality control, job site coordination, and client interactions.
