A huge ""thank you"" to Jacob, your emergency plumber, who responded to my home in the very early morning hours of Saturday, December 4th.
I had a water shutoff that broke, was leaking badly and a bathroom faucet that gave way from corrosion. The home is our primary residence and we needed help fast.
Jacob did an outstanding job, was courteous and friendly.
Jacob is a real asset to your company.
Because of him, we will call Whitcher for any of our future plumbing needs.

I called to have a winter furnace inspection done and scheduled for the following week. Technician arrived and performed inspection and found a faulty heat exchanger and made all arrangements, fixed problem and all work was done. I have no complaints about work. I received my bill for $735 and since the heat exchanger was under warranty and shipping was $75 and there was a maximum 3-4 hours of work (1 hour at my house and some assembly in their shop) I asked why bill was so high. I was told ""you were quoted that was the price""
I WAS NOT GIVEN A QUOTE.
I try to be fair, honest and reasonable and this company IS NOT. The price is outrageous.

The technician came out and did absolutely nothing. He commented, ""We do not service Lennox."" He did not look at anything. Took pictures and left. I paid the service call fee because that is the cost of just coming out, but I feel I deserve a refund considering it was a waste of both of our time. If he did nothing because he knew nothing about Lennox then I should of been asked when I called to make the appointment what kind of system I had to avoid the waste of time and money.

I was surprised with the straight forward honesty from this company. We bought a new house and furnace needed some work on the exhaust pipe going to the chimney. I paid for a furnace inspection and the repairman simply gave me a flat fee per foot to replace the rusted out pipe, the exhaust pipe very bad.No big up sell or other nonsense. Straight, honest, & to the point. He was very polite and the work was honestly fare for the price. All I can say is thank you and we are a customer forever. When we go to get a new furnace we will call you.

Outrageous price charged for replacing a thermostat at my rental property in Michigan. I was in a bind when one of my lake cottage renters called and said the heat wouldn't come on. I was 230 miles away so I called Whitcher to respond to the problem. They responded quickly and were very nice over the phone but the amount to replace the thermostat was $173.36! Wow. I had replaced this thermostat before and it cost me about $25 at Lowes and about 20 minutes to take the two wires off the old one and put them on the new one. (Don't have air conditioning or it might have been 3 wires.) I was stuck being so far away and having an unhappy vacationer on my hands so I went ahead with the repair but Whitcher won't be called again.
