I could write a book about the horrible, dishonest service I have received from these people. Want the short version? I paid them over $30k to install several products that ended up damaging my house for another $30k. Then they ghosted me. They blatantly lie about how they will resolve their shoddy workmanship and products and when they will show up. But if you love losing money and being treated like something that belongs in one of their toilets, hire them all! (Bought two furnaces, two air conditioning units, water softener, tankless water heater....) Tankless was faulty and had to be replaced. Furnace doesn't work. They won't come and fix it when they say they will. Installed a furnace drain line wrong in my attic. It froze. Leaked downstairs into my kitchen. I was out of town. Good times! To be fair, they replaced the computer it destroyed. But refused to pay for the ceiling damage. Lighting damage. Wall damage and, sadly, the other side of that wall has a 20x12 foot mural on it. (no biggie, had it done by an artist from Austria) They got nervous about the damage and disengaged. Ghosted me...like the plague. I'm not saying not to use them, I'm just saying to triple your budget and find someone who can repair what they break or install improperly . That's all. Remember tho! ""Thanks for calling Whipple, my name is Priy! How can I make your day better? "" Hit me in the back of the head with a shovel, Priy, you've done everything else you could to me.

I had a toilet that would not flush. Whipple was the only one I could find that was open (7:30 Saturday evening). The technician came out plunged it and got the water out. He told me it would never work again because it was so old. He did not auger it but I was charged over $300 for the visit. They do a great job at advertising. But the price is not worth the service. The cost he quoted me for a basic toilet and install was almost $1000. I got a much higher quality one with installation for $500.

We made an appointment for some electrical repair work, scheduled for a Monday. They called at the end of the day scheduled to ""re-schedule"" our appointment. They told my daughter that we requested the re-schedule - which we did not. I called the next day and was told they had to re-schedule. We agreed they would come on Friday, but I was clear we needed them before noon, due to another commitment. I was assured that would not be a problem. On Friday, I got a call from the technician at 12:10, telling me he was 30 minutes away. I was a bit annoyed and told him that was not acceptable, as I was promised they wound be there before noon. He offered to re-schedule, but I told him I needed to decide if I wanted Whipple to do the work or another firm. I knew it was not his fault and said I would re-schedule. He said he would notify his office so they could follow up. Because I never heard another word from anyone at Whipple, I called a competitor and had the work completed.

Sadly, this was my second disappointing service from Whipple. A year ago, I needed some work done on an electrical outlet connected to a ring camera. The technician tried to connect the light switch but after about 45 minutes said he didn't know how to fix the problem. He capped the wires and that was it.

I'm willing to give a ""second chance"", but after two disappointing service events, I will look elsewhere when I need an electrician.

Wow. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!! Run the other way. We have a cartridge that needed to be fixed/replaced in the shower faucet. We stupidly scheduled with Whipple since we had used them 20 years ago and then had been fair then. The technician was there 2 hours and did maybe 40 minutes of work. He tried to upsell new shower walls, an A/C contract for maintenance, anything he could think of. He initially quoted $340 to replace the cartridge which didn't fit. He claim there was a scratch. So now we needed a new value. He quoted $2100!!! Not for the faucet just the value. My husband said no that was outrageous. The technician ended up capping the water lines (until we can fix the faucet) and disconnecting it from the old water softener for $600. When I saw the minimal work I called customer service and spoke to John about the outrageous charges for the amount of work. He claimed pandemic pricing (big surprise) and stood behind the charge. He claimed the technician did all this diagnostic work and had to drain the lines (by turn off the water, lol) and to cap the water line. When I said I could make my job sound super technical too. Mysteriously we were disconnected aka hung up on. I get a text saying sorry you are unhappy and don't want to use us anymore. Lesson Learned. Fool me once. Please reach out for referral from friends and family. Whipple will take advantage of you.
