They came to my house to do a tune up on my A/C. While they were there they didn't actually do anything to my A/C, but instead told us that there were $1000 in repairs and cleaning that needed to be done. Instead of falling for this money grab I had a second opinion on my A/C. The other company did say it needed to be cleaned, but once that was done (for a much lower price!) They told me nothing in my A/C was broken or needed to be fixed. Basically Whipple just wanted to make some money and were willing to screw me in order to do it. I will never use them for anything because of this!!! Don't waste your time. There are other honest companies out there willing to actually help you out and not screw you over.

These guys have come to my rescue more times than I can count, are always courteous, clean and professional. Today Jason Petroni and his partner rescued us from 5 days of a hot house without air conditioning. We had called another company because the thermostat we had said we had to use one of their ""preferred"" HVAC people. What a mistake! They diagnosed my problem incorrectly. Whipple came in, had my AC up and running in no time and were super helpful. Jason even came back when we had a problem installing the new thermostat. Seriously above and beyond...every time! Thanks Jason!

When another Air conditioning repair company J**** Heating and Air conditioning tells you after you have a scheduled appointment and stay home from work for 2 days.... they can't make it until next week ""we are just too busy"" making it 5 days with no air...

I called Whipple, my phone call was answered quickly and professionally.. They apologized for the other companies poor customer service and offered to have a technician dispatched out asap (Same Day)
They have earned our business for multiple properties!

I contacted Whipple about a leak in a main water supply line of a commercial building. I was told that they only work on residential buildings. That seems strange to me; I wonder if they are real plumbers?

Whipple was dishonest. Pure and simple.

Service rep was pushy. Told us the repair costs on the A/C unit would be $1,500. Proceeded to tell us that the unit was so old, we might as well buy a new one rather than sink $1,500 into an old one. Said if we committed right there he could get us on the schedule fast. We said we needed to think on it and he said once he leaves we'll go to the back of the line for scheduling and it will be 2+ weeks to get it repaired.

Ultimately shooed him out the door and called another company. They got the A/C running for next to nothing and told us there was no reason at all to buy a new unit because the current unit, although old, is working just fine. Just needed the capacitor replaced.

I always hear the friendly Whipple ads on the radio. Sadly, they're a bait and switch all the way.

My A/C stopped working during a streak of hot days so we called around to find a company to come check it out. When I called Whipple, they were very professional and sympathetic to our situation, but couldn't make it out until 3 days later. We looked around for another company that could come sooner, but then got a call back from Whipple saying they could come out the next day. They showed up on time, wore shoe covers while in our house and were able to get the A/C back up and running.

I also liked that they took the time to explain everything and help me understand what was going on with the system. I'm glad we called them and although I'm not sure that they are the cheapest, the pricing is fair and I feel that I can trust them. Thanks Whipple!

Bad company. It brought back my memories. Several years ago,we had a clogged toilet. The guy cracked our toilet with auger. He denied. He said the toilet was old. The house was built 3 years ago. He charged us $700 to replace . We had no choice at the time because he took it out. Don't call them to fix even if they have promotions. The reason I posted now because we have clogged toilet again. My friends said they have promotions. We had horrible experience with them. Don't do any business with them. People gave more than 1 star have the rear up the head. At that time I didn't know there's yelp.hope they close

We've had a furnace installed by Whipple and are are very happy with it. Our AC went out suddenly and had a tech come out right away which was great, but when Josh arrived to give us a quote, the ""strong arm"" sales tactics took over and I had to ask him to leave. I mentioned I'd like to get another quote and his response was something to the effect that I dragged him away from his family on a Sunday afternoon and I now I have the gal to no want to buy an AC (at a price at least $2,000 more than what I can get elsewhere for the EXACT same unit. I haven't been this angry in a while. Will be some time before I ever let a Whipple rep in my home again! Be careful!!

Very disappointed but all the change one filter out to filters I paid for two services didn't close up one of my furnaces then tried to convince me that one AC has no Freon which can't be true because if it didn't have any Freon it would not be running cold I understand it may have a leak but it's not it's zero then they try to explain to me that I need 6 pounds of Freon which my unit only holds five
Not happy that I paid for the service that I got and really wish I had rethought this I thought Whipple was good but I guess I was incorrect
