Al Lomeli came today to do a routine inspection as part of my club membership. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly - he even put up with my rambunctious goldendoodle! He checked various water lines to sinks, toilets, and washer. And yes, he suggested some upgrades/replacements but was not insistent. Some of those suggestions will probably have to be done in the future, but not for now. All in all, this visit went very well.

I'm sure their plumbers are great, but their prices are staggering. And I don't like the upselling. As a customer, you are paying for their overhead. Earlier this year, we paid $2,100 just to have some valves replaced because our pipes were banging. My husband didn't remember NOT to call Whipple since it had been almost a year since that incident. He ended up paying $1,170 to replace TWO valves under our kitchen sink and install a faucet we had purchased. I called the company the next day at which point they said they have fixed prices. So $650 for a faucet installation regardless of the fact it only took the plumber about 1.5 hours total time at our house. And then whatever else they tacked on to equal the $1,170. We have NEVER paid so much to a plumber before using Whipple, which we will never do again.

This is the second time we have used Whipple. Aaron was very polite and friendly. He was on time, professional, clean and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

My service guy was wrong about my water heater, after getting a second opinion. He didn't even flush the water heater because he said it would do more harm than good. Then he charged me full price for the service, even though he didn't do a big part of the job order. He also spent most of his time trying to sell me a new water heater and getting me to sign up for the subscription. My HVAC service guy did a great job though. He made it a two start instead of a 1 star experience.

Great service! We had Ben and Bob come out to set up sauna heater and do some work on the electrical panel,everything went smooth and quick,very thorough work,could not have been happier. We did end up purchasing the membership and hope to make use of it this year.

If you schedule service with this business...... EXPECT......... that your appointment will be cancelled. Don't make the same mistake I did (twice) of taking time off of work to accommodate your appointment. I mean, they gave me a 5 hour window, and still couldn't meet their commitment. They seemingly do not value their customers' time. They will not be getting a third opportunity from me. So, no. They did not ""Whipple that away."" Nor, did they ""make my problem, their problem."" Instead, they created more problems for me.

Called to get their advertised ""$27 furnace tune-up"". Technician showed up, banged around for a while then came up and said he had to condemn the furnace as it was dangerous to continue running. He set-up a visit for the next day to arrange for a new install. Something seemed off as our unit is a 9 yo Lenox, and the photos he showed us were odd. We got a second opinion who said everything looked great (and showed us pictures live - which looked nothing like what Whipple had showed us). Only thing wrong was a blockage on the vent outlet. $50 for the second opinion vs. $8,000+ for Whipple - you do the math.
