Zero stars. Just interested in scamming your insurance company.

My sink drain was clogged. We filed a simple repair request via our home warranty company, American Home Shield, who quickly dispatched Wham Plumbing. The ""plumber"" showed up with no equipment but a moisture meter and walked under the sink, and said there is a high level of moisture and therefore he couldn't snake the drain. He dispatched a third company, Fast Dry, who came in with he same moisture meter and said there is a lot of moisture and tried to file a claim agains tour primary home insurance company. This all was happening within an hour or two of the first plumber arriving. All of these felt very scammy so we insisted they stop with everything. We called a real plumber who we have used in the past and he came and snaked the drained, and we noted no elevated moisture levels. Wham Plumbing and their partners Fast Dry were just trying to scam work out of our insurance company. I would not let them anywhere near your house.

I own and manage several rental properties in Southern California and the Customer Service, Customer Follow up, and scheduling that Wham Plumbing offers is the worst!! The also can't commit to a reasonable time span or window of time to give you if you do get an appointment and they may even decide to not do the work... I've never seen a business as poorly managed and run as the Wham Plumbing outfit!! I left them voicemails that went unreturned and when I called their dispatch office their voicemail was completely full so I couldn't even leave them a message to find out about my appointment that was supposed to be scheduled... Simply put- TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!

if I can give 0 I would! my garbage disposal was broken. I had two plumbers look at it and tell me that it's completely disintegrated yet he somehow wrote on the report that there were foreign objects inside and therefore not covered. Took forever to write a report for the insurance company to make sure that none of my stuff is covered. Terrible response. When my plumber finally changed it I asked him if there were any foreign objects in the disposal. He said yes of the actual disposal it disintegrated. Terrible service just absolutely horrible.! if your insurance company tells you to use them, don't! stay away

American Home Warranty had this plumber get my service request for a leaking shower handle. Unfortunately, they reported there was nothing wrong even though we sent a video multiple times. My tenant reports that the plumber didn't even look at the right shower and didn't want to be bothered to fix anything. I asked for a second opinion because this company is terrible.

And added in response to the owner:
- no one contacted me to ask me about the shower repair. I would love to see the report because the thermal check tech told me a valve needed to be replaced but that he didn't actually work in the plumbing company. After calling AHS, multiple times they said a valve would have been covered but there was no mechanical issues on the report.

I was going through my home warranty for an emergency. Wham Plumbing was contracted out to do the job. Plumber came out to make his initial probe. This was 1130am. Since the service request was an emergency the expectation was to send his report to the authorization department asap to get the work approved, which my warranty company called Wham Plumbing several times to do. Next day arrives and Wham Plumbing still did not submit their findings. Home was without water during this time due to tenant shutting off the emergency value to prevent further leaking.

I tried to reach out to the company on numerous attempts to no avail. This is bad customer service and I did my research. They have bad review for the most part everywhere. I would not recommend this company for an emergency. The mindset should be customer service and treat all jobs the same small or big. Hopefully they will get better.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Rheem recommended this company, and I was told labor cost were covered by rheem. As soon as they got there, they tried to charge for labor even though labor was covered. Rheem did explain that we would have to cover any other extra cost like parts which was understood. Then the plumber let us know that we had to install our own straps, and the plumber let us know that he would take lunch and come back with help to install the water heater. Neither the plumber nor his helper ever came to install the water heater. No courtesy call or text to let us know that he was coming back. I also tried calling the company numbers, but no one answered. I also sent the plumber a text and called him multiple times and no answer. They left a half done job, and ghosted us. If Rheem ever sends you to them, just ask for another company or do it yourself.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any service company. The home warranty company (Select Home Warranty) hired them, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Communication was abysmal--they didn't answer phone calls or respond to messages. After waiting several days unable to use the water, they finally said they'd arrive between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Not only did they never show up, but they also didn't bother to call or update me. When I finally got through to the business owner, he ended the call by saying, ""fuck you"" and ""fuck off."" Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Stay far away from this company. As I told the owner there is no wonder why they have so many one star reviews.

I needed to have a water heater replaced. Nice guy named Rick arrived and replaced my old heater with a new within less than an hour. He was professional and friendly. If I ever have any other plumbing issues, I will definitely choose this company.
