AVOID WHAM! Scammers. Initially, they came on time, very nice technician, did inspection, and claimed a part needed replacement, tried to repair it with no luck, and promised to return the same day with a replacement--which he didn't. The following day, the company called, asserting the replacement wasn't covered by insurance but offered it for free in exchange for a 5-star review. Our home warranty confirmed the part was approved for repair or replacement. When we refused to give the 5 star review before the job was completed, contact with them became impossible, it seemed like they were screening calls. Through our warranty, who contacted them, another technician was sent, claimed the same issue, that we needed a new part and promised to also return the same day, but never did, instead, Wham falsely reported the problem as fixed to American Home Shield. We provided home video evidence to our warranty company, showing footage of the plumber acknowledging the part needed to be replace and that the job wasn't done. This ordeal with Wham went on for three weeks with lies, no resolution, three no-shows, and hard to get a hold of them. Once our warranty saw the video, they sent a different company, who completed the job in three days, installed the new part, and didn't ask for a review--but still we gave them one, 5 stars, they earned it.

Bottom line: AVOID Wham Plumbing at all costs.

This company is terrible. We had plumbing problems and contacted our warranty company (AHS) and was assigned Wham plumbing for leaking bath tub and toilet. The guy who came out looked at the toilet issue and said he had to go and pick up parts but never returned and didn't even fix the bath tub. We later found out that the guy told the warranty company that the floor was uneven. Our floor is on planks - how could it be uneven. He said that because he didn't want to work on the toilet.

Then a lady called from that company saying that if I was to give them a 5 star with the AHS warranty company, they would upgrade the bath tub equipment. I did it but they did not do what they said plus it took 5 days for someone to come out. I would not recommend this company at all. I wonder how many other customers they tricked into asking for a 5 star and then they would upgrade the job. Not good at all. Too bad I couldn't give them a -10 for everything.

Terrible experience. They were the assigned vendor to fix a water heater through American Home Shield. First time they came out was fine. Second time they didn't show up and said they were at the door and no one answered (not true). They were approved to replace the heater. Cancelled the morning of the appointment day and rescheduled for a week later. Following week, they cancelled the morning of the appointment again. This time they said someone called the day before and that I would not provide access to replace the heater. Aside from being complete BS and no one called, how does it make sense that I wouldn't give access to replace a water heater I want replaced? Avoid this company at all costs.

Update: there is no access issue. It is a lie they made up to not come and service. There is a couch that was moved and floor covering placed. George, please tell American Home Shield that you will not service so that a reputable company can be assigned. Don't take assignments if they are outside of your service area and then lie to try and get out of them.

We had a leak in our bathroom and our home warranty company dispatched wham plumbing. We received a phone call from them telling us that ""legally"" they are not able to come and do any work until they first send out a mitigation company to asses any damages from the leak before they could address the leak. A representative from Pro Dry came and told us we need to rip out our brand new floors, rip out drywall, replace the bathtub and have a mold abetment team come out and check for mold, which would cost $1000 just for them to check for mold, and they need to leave a dehumidifier in the bathroom for $100 a day until we agreed to do all of that they could not address the leak. Wham plumbing never showed up then reported to our insurance company that the service call was cancelled by the homeowner which was a lie. Because they cancelled the call we had to start the process again and wait another day with a continuous leak for another company to come out and fix the problem within 10 minutes.
