The owner is arrogant and has no customer service experience. His employees made a mistake, completed a service I asked not to have done. So, I was charged. When I asked, he said, Oh that's right, I'll only charge you 1/2 then. I was told I could pay by credit card, but then the owner stated no payment was due at completion, cash or check. I don't have a checkbook and offered to send a check from my bank. He declined and implied that I could go to the bank. I offered an electronic payment method which he accepted. Still standing in my doorway, not offering any information to make the payment, I asked if the account was linked to his phone number. He said yes. I said I would get the payment done, but he still stood in my doorway. it made me very uncomfortable. I texted him the screenshot when it was complete. He apologized for his employee telling me I could pay by credit card, but not for the billing error. Then he wanted to tell me that for the 19 years this is how he does business and so does everyone else. Nope, not acceptable for me or how I expect to be treated for a service I am hiring for. I will not give him any more business and have filed a complaint for a partial refund.
