When researching Western States Home Services, I came across a couple of negative reviews. Hoping they were just having a bad day, as I can offer nothing but positive feedback from the service of this company. I was involved with three separate ""techs"", for lack of a better term, and I found them to be punctual, efficient, conscience of my budget, and totally trusted them with the care of my home and pets. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them.

We recently selected Western States to replace our 2 AC units in our home. We considered a few other companies when making this selection as it was a significant investment. Steve Foster was willing to work with us on pricing and terms. The installation went very well. They were flexible on the schedule and were able to do the work very quickly. The installers were very polite and professional. After the work was done, Steve made a trip back to our home to make sure the work was done in a quality manner. I am now happy to report that my home office is now much cooler than it has ever been in the past. The work they did to improve the airflow helped to cool down the previously hottest room in the house.

Had an awesome experience with these folks! They installed a new heating & A/C unit in my home. The technician assessed my needs ( I have vaulted ceilings) and recommended the best unit. They were prompt, quick & clean. Can't wait to start saving money this summer. Very satisfied!

They will show up and offer very low rates for a ""tune-up."" But once they get your phone number, they will hound you. If you are ready for over 100 calls per year, go ahead and take advantage of their low rates. If not, look elsewhere. Personally, I'd rather not deal with a company that abuses my time and phone line in this manner.

Yikes. They've called me 4 times in the last half hour! Twice they hung up without speaking to me. They must create a telemarketing list and tell all of them to call every number. I asked numerous times for them to stop calling.

How do I make it stop??? These people are horrible!

There are times when service is delivered and met and other times when it surpasses everything you expect. Western States did a phenomenal job. They went above and beyond and even did a household fix that he noticed that had nothing to do the AC problem! Wow. All I can say is-- hire these guys!!

Had these guys come out to evaluate my two AC units. One old one new. The guy looked out the outside units. He said I needed $1,600 worth of repairs on the outside units and wanted to fix that before he examined the inside parts. Seemed quite put out when I said I wanted to know the whole deal before comitting to anything. Then he looked at the inside units. A lot of sales pressue, special deal "" today only kind of stuff.

Anyway had some other folks come out today who said the old unit was old but ok and the new unit was fine. Could be the Western States Home Service guy was right and the old until will fail on first 110 degree day but so far so good.

These asshats call every day to a number I only use for faxing out. My fax machine is set to let the calls ring and do nothing.. they call almost every day without fail sometimes more than once for the last 5 months. Maybe these dipshits should stop calling? Maybe? I've never answered the phone.

Don't know why someone rates a company based on an outcall phone bank. The Yelp directory was established in order for consumers to get first hand reviews from individuals who have actually utilized the services of the organization. I have used Western States for service, repair, trouble shooting, and purchased an 2 air conditioners and swamp coolers.from them. They have had the same owner, same office manager, same service repair individuals, so I always know who I'm dealing with. Integrity, honesty are reliability are factors that are paramount when it comes to the people coming into my home. I not only continue to use this company, I consistently recommend them to any of my friends and relatives that need knowledgeable technicians working on their AC.

Just got a sales call from this company. Man asked for me by name and asked how I was. I replied ""very busy"". He replied ""well, so am I sir"" and hung up. Fail.

Have bought several different air-conditioners from these guys for rental units, swamp coolers for my house. Bought a service package from them even though I have a home warranty on my house. They really stay on top of things and above all, they are honest. The owners name is Randy and I admire someone who shoots straight. I have done business with them for years, and they don't come in to fix one thing then try to upsell you on something else. I just really admire the way they do business. Will always go to them first on anything I do around my house. Steve is my repairman, and I love him. They call first and always show up when they say they will.
