In 40 years this is the worst service I have ever had. One day after service our pipes froze due to their mistake that their technician admitted to. They refused to acknowledge their responsibility despite the technician' s admission and billed us anyway.

This 5 star rating is as much for Scott Cernak, the owner, as it is for his business - Western Mass Heating and Cooling. Western Mass was the HVAC subcontractor on our new home build. Scott is extraordinarily knowledgeable and responsive. He helped us immensely during the build, finding creative solutions when problems arose - and he even came in under our allowance! Fabulous. Scott has also (successfully) problem-solved some issues in our house (which were not the result of his work). He seems to have multiple ways of finding a solution and a way of explaining it to non-HVAC people. Not sure when the guy sleeps as he responds, really promptly, to emails. HVAC is one of the things you just don't want to have to think about day-to-day, you know? Hire this guy and you can spend your days without worry (at least not in relation to your HVAC).
