At Western Colorado Plumbing & Heating, our goal is to offer the most trustworthy and efficient service, prioritizing quality and safety. Our expertise lies in the installation, maintenance, service, and enhancement of plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems for our customers. Founded in May 1982 by Steve Ganskow, a third-generation professional in the mechanical field, we are one of the oldest shops still operated by its original owner. Few can boast such a legacy.

We have developed with the Western Slope, working on new builds and repairs for residential and commercial projects. Our equipment includes sewer machines, jetter machines, excavation gear, sheet metal tools, and fully stocked service vans, always ready to serve.

Raised on the Western Slope, I graduated from Grand Junction High School. I started the business in 1982 during the oil shale bust. I had a team of six at one time, but now it’s just me.

I married my high school sweetheart in 1976 and raised three sons who worked with me at various times. I have always loved the Western Slope; it’s my preferred place to reside. Throughout my thirty-four years in business, I’ve formed many friendships with those I’ve served.
