Company Overview

At Western Colorado Plumbing & Heating, we aim to provide the most reliable and efficient service, without sacrificing quality or safety. We focus on the installation, upkeep, servicing, and enhancement of our customers' plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems. We ensure that we adhere to the highest standards in the industry and follow ethical business practices.

Founded in May 1982 by Steve Ganskow, a third-generation professional in the mechanical field, we are one of the oldest shops still operated by its original owner. Such a claim is rare in our industry.

We have developed with the Western Slope, working on new builds and repairs for residential and commercial projects. We possess sewer machines, jetter machines, excavation tools, sheet metal equipment, and well-equipped service vans, prepared to help.

Raised on the Western Slope, I graduated from Grand Junction High School. I began the business in 1982 during the oil shale crisis. At one point, I had up to six employees, but now it’s just me.

In 1976, I married my high school sweetheart and raised three sons who have all worked with me at different stages. I have always loved the Western Slope; it’s my preferred place to reside. Over thirty-four years in business, I’ve made many friends through my work.
