Issue:
A copper pipe leak in my crawl space

Likes:
- I was able to get a plumber come in the same day I called - life saver!
- Troubleshooted and promptly figured out the source of the leak. The plumber seemed to know what he was doing (although didn't speak English well).
- The leak was not easy to get to, given there were several ducts in that same area. So the plumber worked with me to figure out less intrusive ways to get to the leak and fix it.
- Fixed the leak promptly.
- Charged very reasonably for the service they provided

Minor Dislikes:
- It was a little hard to communicate with the plumber, especially while discussing least intrusive ways to get to the leak
- So finally, to get to the leak, he cut a big hole in the stand underneath the water heater in the garage, and also another in the drywall in the garage wall. Which was great! But he was ready to walk away with a gaping hole in the wall after he was done!
- After talking to Pierre (owner), the plumber agreed to come back after a week to close the hole. However, had to call several times for somebody to come back after a few weeks passed by.
- But the guys who showed up (different from the plumber who fixed the leak) didn't seem to know what they were doing. They were flip flopping on what needed to be done.. So I called Pierre, who thankfully showed up promptly, asked these guys to clear some wet insulation material, close up the hole and we were done.

In summary, I would probably call them again since they did an excellent job of actually locating and fixing the leak, at a very reasonable price. But I'm taking off a star since the post-fix experience could have been better..

Just came home to find out I have a small leak from the main pipe that feeds my front yard sprinklers. In this year of drought, any water we can save is appreciated. I gave WestCoast Plumbing a call and within an hour, Edwin, one of their plumbers assessed the situation and made a recommendation to replace the section of pipe that was leaking. From the time of my first call to Edwin completing the job, only 90 minutes had passed and no more leak. Edwin was very professional and did the job completely. In fact, the work he did looked better than new. I would highly recommend this plumbing company for you plumbing needs. Definitely ask for Edwin. A very nice, professional that listens to plumbing problems and provides solutions that is reasonably priced. In fact, I am having them also provide me a quote for another plumbing project that I have been putting off. That is how impressed I am with this company.

Updating my review as the owners of Westcoast Plumbing did everything possible to make the customer happy. Not only did they return the extra fee they charged for the leaking stop valve that was in good shape before their service, but they also did a free caulking job for the home. The caulking was part of the initial deal but the service men previously did a very poor job. This was rectified with new crew who did an excellent job. I would have given them a 5 star if not for the initial bad experience. I will of course try them again as they seem to be sincere in their efforts.

Pierre was simply wonderful. We bought a house and needed to replace the old galvanized pipes with new copper pipes and replace the water heater. We contacted a bunch of plumbing companies. Pierre came out the next day and did a free inspection. He gave us a good quote for copper repipe and heater. His quote was competitive, he used good materials and he seemed professional so we picked him. He came in early on the appointment day with 2 more guys. They made sure they did not damage the floors.
We needed to move in quickly and he promised to do the job in 3 days. But he forgot that the weekend he planned to do the job had a national holiday but started the work anyways. He then told me his guys cannot work that day and the work will get delayed by one day. I was not happy about this. But Pierre made it up to me by doing a bunch of extra work and did not charge me for it. He even painted the walls for me. When he was done, you couldn't even tell we had any plumbing work done. 5 stars for professionalism and courtesy!

Scheduled a next day appointment for leaking disposal, between 8:30 and 9:30. 10:15 next morning, no show, no call. Called company and was told tech was at another job (for another 2 1/2 hours?) and if I wanted to wait or reschedule. How about NEITHER? Thanks Westcoast Plumbing for your lack of professional courtesy and having me waste my time.

So my situation wasn't dire but I needed professionals to step up and help. My kitchen sink was clogged. The guys came out about an hour after I called and in 20 minutes they had snaked the pipes and pulled out what looked like a very old rag that finally stopped up the drain. It's working great now and the price was axactly as quoted and on par with all other places I called. Thanks guys!

Look no further for an honest, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced plumber! Pierre is the only plumber we'll use, from here on out!

We used Pierre's services to install a Noritz tankless water heater and also to troubleshoot said water heater when it failed (through no fault of Pierre's). Both during the initial install and for all of the follow-up troubleshooting visits, Pierre was on time and extremely professional. He runs his business well, and is a man of integrity and honesty.

As an added bonus - even through he had to return for many follow-up visits to troubleshoot - Pierre would not accept any additional payments for his time. This was not expected, but, was a very nice surprise.

West Coast Plumbing is the best plumber in town, hands down!

West Coast Plumbing is the BEST!!!!
I bought a brand new Rheem water heater from Home Depot. We ended up having a lot of problems with it. The pilot kept going out on it every 1-3 days. Rheem was no help - I would never recommend a Rheem water heater. But West Coast Plumbing is outstanding!!!! They were determined to get it fixed and running. I highly recommend them. Very nice people - show up on time - and they go the extra mile to get it done right. You will not be disappointed
