I had recently bought a house, and had an issue with my bath/shower stall draining slowly a couple months ago. I think something got stuck in the pipe while the previous owner was remodeling because the water did not seem to go drain fast enough and water was pooling when I took a shower. I looked through Yelp for highly-rated companies. I called a few companies and compared a few quotes before deciding to make an appointment with Pierre. The reason I went with Pierre was because he seemed to genuinely want to earn my business and loyalty, not just earn a buck (plus, his quote was very fair).

Here's what happened: I explained the drainage problem to Pierre over the phone, and right then he already had a hunch what was going on and had a couple solutions for me. I was very much surprised when Pierre said that if the first solution he recommended did not work, I didn't have to pay for it! So, this being a risk-free solution, I decided to make the appointment.

Pierre even made himself available the same day (at 9PM) even though he had other appointments that day. He and his employee came by and were both very respectful. They did the job and made sure it worked! Not only that, Pierre told me that if the drain gets clogged again within the next 30 days, he will come by to fix it for free! Now that is the way all honest businesses should run. People who stand by their work and/or product deserve my loyalty. Thanks Pierre!

We had a great experience with Pierre from WestCoast Plumbing.

This morning we had only lukewarm water, after a few weeks of unreliable hot water. I called WestCoast Plumbing at about 10:15 am, and was told they could come to us at 11:30 to give a free estimate. Pierre arrived just on time, took a quick look at our water heater and told me our thermal coupler (I think) was not working and needed replacement, and quoted what seemed to me like a reasonable price. I gave him the OK and he went right to work. Within about 10-20 minutes he was done, and we now have hot water. Problem solved - easily and professionally.

I wouldn't think twice about hiring him again.

There is never a good time for a plumbing emergency but right after Christmas is a rotten time. I got a faint smell of gas just before lunch and called PG&E as per their guidelines. By the time the PG&E tech came, it was 7PM. By this time, the gas smell was very strong and could be had from 10 metres away. The technician checked and confirmed a severe leak and pointed to a section of the pipe under concrete.

The next morning, I searched online and called 5 plumbing companies, all with high ratings. Pierre was one of 3 who actually answered the phone. I explained the problem and he agreed to come right away. The other 2 who answered the phones said that they would not be able to come to evaluate till later in the day. I left voice mails for the last 2 but they never returned my calls.

Pierre arrived in about an hour with a worker. They carefully re-checked every thing to confirm the PG&E tech's findings. Pierre said he could start the work the next morning since he was engaged that day. He said that it would take the whole day. He gave me a quote and I gave him the job straight away. Normally I would wait for 3 quotes (I had no idea what such a job would reasonably cost) but since Pierre was willing to attend to my emergency immediately, I went with him. Someone I spoke to later told me that Pierre's quote was very reasonable.

The next morning, his workers came punctually. They did a very good job, breaking the concrete and replacing the leaking pipe and filling it with concrete. They showed me the old pipe which was cracked and had poor insulation.

Pierre will be first on my list if (God forbid) I have any plumbing issues. Top notch customer service and professionalism.

We sprung a leak in the pipe that was outside our house by the water meter out of nowhere. The people that put in the sprinklers for the people who lived in the house before us did a shoddy job with PVC pipe instead of copper and the connection point burst. WPS guys came out the same night we called, were friendly and capable, and had it fixed within a couple hours in the super cold weather for a decent price. We will definitely call upon them again for any plumbing needs!

Highly recommend! WestCoast fit us in last minute due to five days with no hot water. Showed up and resolved our issue and repaired for us quickly. I thought it would be high price since a weekend and emergency call but he charged us lower than the original quoted price. I will definitely call WestCoast for all plumbing issues!!

I called WestCoast Plumbing after seeing several positive reviews on yelp. We needed someone to work on the water heater that was leaking. When I called initially, he called *right* back and worked with my schedule to find a time to come. When I called him back the following day to see if he could come earlier than we originally agreed, he worked with me again and came by in the early evening to accommodate my work schedule. When he arrived (right on time), he was very polite, professional, gave us his card immediately. He fixed the pipe in record time, didn't charge us for the part, and even checked on a few other leaky faucets that we had been wondering about. As he was putting together the invoice, he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. When we actually get around to getting those leaky faucets fixed, we'll definitely call him again.

I needed water heater service in my home. Checked YELP and picked WestCoast Plumbing. I am glad I did.. not sure if I needed a repair or new Water Heater, I explained the problem to Pierre over the phone. He had a good idea of the problem immediately. For $98 service call with part of that $$$ going towards a repair. When he came out he discovered it was only a temp problem and checked it out see that everything was working proper. suggested I keep an eye on it and call him if it happens again ""I will be out immediately"".. then didn't charge me anything!!
Professional, reasonable, fast service, returns phone calls immediately..what else can you ask for? I taped his business card to my water heater, next time I will call West Coast!
