This review is long overdue. Ray and his team are hands down the best experience we've ever had with a plumber. Westchester has replumbed two separate tear down renovations in West LA for us. They've also serviced several different rental properties in Venice Beach and Mar Vista. They're incredibly responsive, professional and reasonable in their pricing. Sometimes great things happen when the plumber you have used for years suddenly won't give you the time of day. You call Westchester Plumbing. They helped me get a part I thought if I was very lucky I could get in 6-8 weeks through a very well known Santa Monica plumbing supply company. Less than one week later Westchester Plumbing had finished the job!! Grateful.

Made an appointment for an estimate on a water heater. Scheduled for late afternoon in a two hour window. Didn't show and didn't notify they couldn't/wouldn't be able to be there. Tech showed up 20 minutes late and claimed he had just gotten a text to make the visit. Thanks but no thanks. Two hours of my life I don't get back. Too bad I can't charge them waiting time!

My husband broke the stem in our shower trying to stop a drip, so he had Westchester Plumbing come out to replace the fixture. Ours was an old fixture with separate hot and cold handles. We were informed that it would have to be replaced with a single handle. No problem. But the hardware that was installed was cheap and doesn't allow you to change the water pressure. I didn't even know this was possible. The water comes out full pressure whether you are rinsing the tub or taking a shower. Showering is now a painful experience and uses an enormous amount of water. Yikes!

My husband called to see what could be done about it. The plumber came out and told us we could turn down the water pressure to the entire house or change our shower head to one that uses less water. Well, the first suggestion is ridiculous. The second suggestion won't work either. As can be seen in the pictures, quite a bit of water goes directly down the drain because there's just too much to make it up to the shower head. That will only be worse with a shower saver.

Overall, I'm not satisfied with the repair because it caused new problems.
