Established in 1935 by siblings, Jack and Aaron Kagan, the company aimed to meet the demands of wholesale plumbing businesses on the West Coast. At that time, the product lines included goods such as faucet systems, valves, plumbing fittings, and more. Subsequent to becoming the leading supplier of plumbing supplies, the company came under new ownership in 1985 by Mr. Max Homami. Noticing a surge in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami envisioned to establish Westbrass as the top brand in kitchen and bath products.
