Definitely do NOT count on these people! My elderly parents had these guys come out and do an estimate on the well. They totally dismantled the well and said they would write back with an estimate. They did send the estimate and my father was willing to go ahead and book the job. He needed to speak with the company to revise one part of the estimate that was included in error. At 1pm he called the office and was told that he would get a call back. No call all day. The next morning I called and asked when could we expect a reply given that my 70+ yo parents are sitting in the middle of nowhere with no access to water and a well dismantled by this company. I was told that calling my father was first thing on the list that morning and it would be done as soon as the manager was done with the morning meeting. I'm writing this review at 3:20 in the afternoon. More than a day later and no call. Nothing. If they can't or don't want to do the job that's fair but at least call and let people know you're not going to do it. To leave people hanging like this is just bad business and plain rude. I asked my father if he wanted to make calls to other plumbers 'just in case' and he said no that he wanted to do what was right by this company since they came out and started the process. He lost a day of good weather and access to water because he was trying to do the right thing for these people who couldn't be bothered to do the same for him.

There is no way I would ever recommend this company. In fact, I will tell anybody who ask to definitly not use them. We have had a 2-0 x 10-0 hole in our back yard for four weeks due to their pure laziness. They lie, they make piss poor excuses on why they cant complete the job. They do not keep appointments, they blame their employess for their lack of customer service. Buyer beware.

Very pleasant experience, if calling a plumber can even be described as a pleasant experience. They were quick, professional, friendly & reasonable. Herman was great. Fixed the problem quickly, cleaned up after himself & gave me some recommendations to prevent future clogs. Michelle was a gem to deal with.

I had scheduled an appointment for them to look at the plumbing at a property I was wanting to buy. I had this appointment scheduled for over a week. They had me on their books. I called them that morning to make sure they were still coming out. They told me they saw where they had me written down for that day , but they were not going to be able to make it because they were on another job & that they don't schedule appointments.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!

We called Westark plumbing over the weekend when My 93 year old Mom's water pipes froze-they were prompt to return the call and came out as quickly as possible to help-I was very impressed by the young man Bryant Lee Taylor who came on Sunday night-he was totally professional in assessing situation and problem solving which put my elderly Mom at ease-two more people came next day to fix problem and were just as friendly and professional -I am impressed with this company and will call again-

Although late with the update, Westark Plumbing turned a bad situation into a satisfied customer. After doing my homework and speaking with the owners, we agreed to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Not only did Westark Plumbing replace the damaged water heater, they brought the entire system up to code and did so in a very timely manner.

I have used this company on and off over the years and they have been mostly professional. I decided to use them for a clogged drain in the spring of 2011 and also asked them to give me a quote on replacing the sewage pipe from the house to the alley, the young technician unplugged the clog right away and then looked for the sewer line using line of sight and a steel rod and digging several holes in my yard after a cpl of hours He couldnt find it. He said he needed to use the camera which he couldnt do by himself, I told him I would help. Another 2 hours ,several more holes and a helper from another job and they could not find it. The charge for the drain unclog was $80 and the sewer camera added another $200. I paid $280 which $100 dollars would be taken off the work I wanted in the future but I would need to schedule another more experienced technician to find the sewer line. I scheduled the inspection/quote and the office secretary said that the money $99 would be applied to my bill which I thought to be the bill I had paid. I gave them an undated check for $99. I The guy finally came out 2 weeks later and never told me where my line was and gave me a verbal quote of ""around"" $2000. I wasnt expecting it but they ran the check through,I am on a monthly check and they posted it 3 times before I had money in the bank which I thought I would receive a credit. That cost me $105 dollars. They evidently turned the check into a check cashing service so those people called and said they would run the check a fourth time and charge me $30 dollars for the privilege. I told that woman I didnt approve that check to be cashed the first time. About a week later ""Amy"" called me saying ""You owe me money and I want it now!"" My bank says they wont honor the check. I just want people in Fort Smith to use caution when using this company,they are unprofessional,inexperienced and money grubbers..this little clogged drain originally $80 is now in excess of $480 for a 5 minute job. You can allow them to unclog a drain but nothing else.
