Just replaced a pressure tank 5/2024, cost me over $3000! According to Angi, This Old House and a few other websites, it should be $400-$800! It's part my fault, because I didn't do my research and didn't ask the cost up front. But never again!

Our house suddenly didn't have a fresh water supply anymore. After I did a quick search online, we think it might be the well pump. We called West Well Pump Service and John fitted us into his schedule very quickly. He came out check the problem and confirmed that the well pump had stopped working. To our surprise, the pump was built in 1991, thirty-two years ago. John and Joe immediately started the pump replacement. They had everything in the truck ready to go. We were able to have the water back on the same day that they came. They did a great job and the cost was reasonable. There is no doubt that we will call West Well Pump again if we have any well problem!

john and joe came out to my house the day after i called west well pump services. john called back that same evening, even though it was after their regular business hours. i explained to him that we had been experiencing very low pressure in our well water pressure tank for some weeks, at the point of which we were only getting a small stream of water out of our upstairs shower head. when they came out, they first checked the pressure tank gauge and switch, and ascertained that the problem likely lay in the well itself. john and joe then went outside and pulled the well pump to find that there were holes in the brass connection between the pump and water pipe. they suggested that they could just replace that connection, but i decided since my pump was 18 years old i would have the pump replaced as well. they also checked out the condition of the wiring supplying the electricity to the pump in order to ensure that it was in good shape. they were very professional; worked well as a team and answered all the questions that i asked them throughout the process. they did a great job in a very timely manner and i believe that the cost was very reasonable for what they accomplished. i highly recommend west well pump service,and will certainly call on them again should i need similar services. you can't go wrong dealing with this business. thanks for everything.

After being away for several weeks, came home to weird well pump symptoms. After unsuccessfully doing some internet research, I couldn't sort out the issue. A phone call started narrowing solutions and John fit me into his schedule the same day. He measured the amps the pump was pulling and it indicated replacing the pump could cure the problem. He and his partner explained the work as they went, they spotted bad wear on the pump wiring, and overall did a seriously professional repair. I also found on the internet that the cost was mid-range. Well worth having it done right and right away.
