I set up an appointment to have septic pumped. They gave me the option for a riser, which I ultimately decided to do. They dug up the yard to get to the septic tank, but the incoming water line placement prevented them from adding the riser. They told me I needed to get the water line moved out of the way, so I had a plumber put in an extension to move the water line out of the way of the riser. They came back, and said they didn't like the fitting the plumber used, and refused to fill it. I was told that I needed another fitting, and when I asked 'What do you need to see there,' the only answer was, 'Not that fitting.' It took several weeks to get them to come out and fix the riser, which was not level, and to fill the hole. Although I offered to take responsibility for the water line if it failed, they wanted a letter from my contractor. Apparently my authority as a home owner was not enough. Ultimately, they filled in the hole, but demolished the sod during this process. They left a bunch of rocks all over the yard, including under a Japanese maple, that I couldn't see, so when mowing ruined the blades on my new mower. Would not recommend these guys.

They told us it would cost $600 to pump our septic system. That seemed sensible and they were very prompt with scheduling. When they arrived they couldn't find the pump out location, so they left... but not before charging us $315 for a 'truck fee' which is the first we had heard of such a fee. I feel robbed.

EDIT: The owner called me after the fact and was very kind and reasonable. Since the $315 wasn't previously agreed on, he is refunding that. While a little more clarity before hand would have avoided this issue, the resolution was excellent and full of empathy.

Greg worked with my schedule, showed up right on time, and fixed my plugged laundry room drain. Other plumbers were convinced the drain pipe was collapsed and wanted to replace if for several thousand dollars. Greg just went to work unplugging the existing drain. It wasn't easy, but he kept working until the job was done. Very professional service.

My alarm went on, so I called the phone number on the panel, they were too busy and referred me to another company, this company referred me to west side drain. Quick scheduling and a minimum fee $495. A young man came for over an hour and said everything was fine, for further diagnosis we should connect the panel to the network of the manufacturer. I asked him whether the alarm would ring again. He said this should be fine.
One day later, Thalarm went on again. We called the manufacturer and they said the service company should have device that could connect to the panel for diagnosis, no need to connect to the network to the manufacturer.
So we called another service company, they came and found out that the filter was blocked. They fixed that problem. And the alarm stopped ringing. They only charged half of what west side Drain did.

Update on 10/21, the owner is responsible and contacted me to issue a full refund, so I modified the rating.

Westside Drain pumped my RV for me. They called to let me know that they could meet me earlier, which was very much appreciated. I'm new to RVing and was very stressed about the situation, but Jon was able to give me some tips and help me figure things out with my system. He was very kind and did a great job. We had a serious back up and they were out quickly and solved the back up in a timely manner. The technician that came out was professional and did a great job. Their price was fair, and actually a lot less than the other companies we called. They did not try to sell us anything extra, and instead came out and did the job we asked them to do. He was very prompt and courteous and Josh, the service technician was very helpful. He came and fixed the problem correctly.
Melinda also was very nice and very helpful and did an outstanding job, following up with me every step of the way, until the job was finished.
Very refreshing to see a company providing such outstanding customer service. Job well done!!!

My toilet was leaking around the base. West Side Drain responded quickly to my request for both a sight-unseen diagnosis of the problem and a quote. The diagnosis turned out to be correct, the cost to correct the problem was reasonable and the work was done in a very timely manner.

West Side Drain provided great service for a challenging septic tank. The lid was difficult to reach, but they persevered and limited any damage to the surrounding tile.
