We used West Plumbing in Gretna to a repair a leaking pipe in our wall that connected to our hot water heater. They gave us a 2 hour window for an appointment which is refreshing compared with the typical 4-5 hour window that we're used to with other contractors. Their plumbers were prompt, professional, and called us when they were in route. Jill and Jeremy were both professional and helpful. Thank you West Plumbing!

As a small business owner I take reviews seriously because half the time they are unwarranted, but not this time. I had a technician come out to unclog the upstairs toilet/tub drain that was draining slowly. (The bottom bathroom is working fine at this point) The technician was polite, worked quickly, and told me the drain was clear and ok to use. Later that night pressure in the line drove water up and FLOODED my ceiling, which had to be re-sheetrocked, textured, and painted. I called them back out to check the line again and the tech told me everything seemed to be draining fine and she has no idea what caused it to overflow. I don't know what she checked or did this time because I was not on site even though I requested a call ahead so I could meet with the tech. A few days later my tenant tells me she scared to use the upstairs bathroom because water backs up into the toilet if the shower runs long enough. To make matters worse the downstairs is now clogged, so the tech just pushed the clog further down instead of clearing it. I called again to get them out to finish the job they started and they want to charge time and half because it's a Saturday. After a brief conversation, I told Melanie nevermind this is ridiculous I'll find another company to finish the job and won't be using them again. She couldn't care less, just o well bye. Well goodbye West Plumbing.

PLEASE STAY COMPLETELY AWAY!!! Melanie was a total pain to speak with. She was extremely rude, defensive and could care less about what their supposed to be licensed plumbers did. This company was hired by buyers for a inspection done on a house for sale and was over-talking the realtors when told that their licensed video plumbers flooded our laundry room. Nothing was wrong with the washer machine or dryer before inspection and after the inspection was over my daughter walked into our flooded laundry room to say the least. Absolutely horrible. Never have I ever experienced such behavior for a Manager(she must be the wife). No customer service whatsoever. Please do not hire this company!!!!! Melanie you should be fired!

The charge to change out the inside of the toilet was $219.25. The replacement part cost was $29. The total time to diagnose and repair the toilet was 20 minutes. The ""technicians"" were not licensed plumbers and arrived in an unmarked beat up pickup truck and didn't even have a bucket to catch the water as they disassembled the toilet. There was no consideration for reducing the bill when discussed with ""the office"". Avoid these people at all costs.
