If you value your money, workmanship, warranties and even mediocre customer service at best--seek elsewhere. Based off of the reviews I can NOT believe the experience I have had.
Originally, I called them to fix a leaking shower handle. It was 1200 to replace the handle a nozzle, and shower head. What it was replaced with is pure garbage. Now I have the worst showering existence since I've owned the home.
I called after it was installed because it seemed to be running very slow. The technician came out and said that it was slow. There was debri and he removed it. It appeared to be running a little better than before. I was hopeful, that we made progress but expressed it still seemed much slower than before. The technician tested it and told me I was getting 3-4gallons per minute the industry standard. I expressed it still seemed kind of slow compared to before. He wasn't interested in hearing or looking at it further. He was on his way and that was that. I wouldn't have cared for a slight difference but this was NOT slight. I later tested the same faucet and got 1 gallon per 30 seconds which equates to 2gpm. Clearly, there is an issue as the water is not coming out as a continuous stream but several small ones(see photo). My husband called and spoke with Josh who told him that the line was only so big and we can only expect so much. I understand that but what I don't understand is why the same line prior to their instal had a larger output? Instead of addressing the issue and resolving the issue they have dismissed and ignored(so much for the warranty).
Now, I have to call another plumber to figure out why I now have such a terrible shower/bath. It's not right that I have to spend even more money on what was supposed to be an upgrade/at least similar to what I had prior. I fully regret using this company and giving them my business, for what should've been an easy swap. It is quickly turning into a nightmare. DO NOT make the same mistake as I and invest in a company that does good work, stands behind that work, and isn't dismissive.
When they gave me a quote for the shower I had them also look at my sink as one of the handles had just broken off. They were supposed to replace that fixture as well during the shower repair. Thankfully(I say because of the issues with what they have replaced). The fixture they brought for the sink didn't fit. Their solution was to replace the sink since it was a custom sized hardware in the sink. Luckily, when the technician removed the handle I was able to find a serial number (part of one) and purchased the handle on Amazon for under 10 bucks while he was on the phone w his boss(see photos). He was checking to see if they could replace the handle. They could not and that was when I was told to fix it I could replace the sink to have standard sized fixtures that fit.
This plumber may work better for you if you have a newer home/not a complex issue (though I'm not sure mine qualified as complex ). But if you are looking for a plumber you can trust that guarantees their work and cares about the customer, this is NOT the place for you.

We are building a house, on our own, so we have dealt with a lot of different companies and contractors, and West Jefferson Plumbing and Heating sets the standard.... really....

Do what you say, when you say it, at the agreed price, and do it correctly.... Sooooo many companies do not (way too many); WSJ is the company you want doing all of your plumbing and AC and/or Furnace work.

They did an excellent job with our Lennox Furnaces and AC (we needed 2 complete systems).....

Pricing was good, work was excellent, response was awesome, communication was great! Can't say enough about how happy we are with this work, and having found West Jefferson Plumbing and Heating.

They came out & gave us a reasonable estimate on a bathroom faucet replacement. We agreed & ordered the parts. 10 days later, we scheduled a date & time which he showed up for on time. The install was professional & clean. No mess! He identified the problem & was able to fix it, not just band-aid it. Very happy with the service! Absolutely our new service tech.

We just had our furnace replaced after we had called them to come out and look at our old furnace that wasn't working properly. The tech came out and serviced it and said that the blower motor needed to be replaced and there was a hairline crack in the heat exchanger but said since it was 20 years old, he suggested that we get a new furnace. He gave us 2 estimates for a new furnace and we called later that afternoon to get a new one installed. They came to install it around 9 am the next morning and were finished before 10:30 am. Everyone there from the sales guy to the tech to the installers were very friendly, very helpful and very upfront with costs and everything. They were also very quick on getting us on the schedule that day to have the tech look at the furnace and then scheduling us the next day to install the new one. I highly recommend West Jeff for all of your HVAC needs. I also forgot to mention that we had used them several years ago to replace our AC. Again, they were quick to get us on the schedule to have our new AC installed.

West Jeff was recommended to us by friends. As a family owned company, they were very honest and straightforward to work with and their quote was 30% lower than the ""big name"" outfit we used to work with. Nice brand name Lennox equipment, well installed, no pressure or sales gimmicks.

The installation was handled promptly and professionally by factory trained installers.

After working with another company this operation was a breeze. They returned quotes consistently the same day. They also seem very direct and honest and didn't try to up-sell me at all. Just seems like a honest company you want to build a relationship with. When they installed my heat pump they sent 3 guys who were all great and easy to worth with. From the quote to the install, this company has been fantastic to work with! The owner did my quote - zero pressure, no gimmicks. The quote was the most competitive priced quote we received.

Scheduling was a breeze, the crew arrived at 8:45, as promised, on the nose! Two super professional installers, extremely nice, took down our old hot water heater and furnace and reinstalled new, cleaned up after themselves, walked us through everything.

Just fabulous! Highly recommend!

I had an emergency service in a cold Winter situation and West Jefferson was very cognizant of my situation and made all the extra efforts to accommodate my needs. Only company that would put me on the schedule!!!

To boot, they did a fine job, the follow up was great as well. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied with all completed work.

BTW - these guys were my third estimate and came in about thirty five percent lower than all other estimates.
