I usually do not leave reviews, but, Bill and Mike did such a great job! I have been dealing with bad pressure for years (my own fault), and they came in and knew exactly what to do. Not only did they fix my problem they also fixed my neighbors (we share a well). If you are looking for a company that knows their stuff and are super friendly. Look, no, further.

These guys are the best! We purchased our new property almost a year ago, and it has a well and septic on it, and 2 homes. So lots of plumbing. My husband and I are new to well and septic care so we had these great guys out to inspect and help explain the system to us. Very friendly and knowledgeable! A few months later we were able to have them out for some repairs and upgrades they had recommended and did a fabulous job! They also came out within a few hours, twice, when 2 different pipes blew in the rental house. Will definitely be using them for any and all future needs! Not to mention the guys who have come out are super friendly and great humans, they treat you like good friends or family not just another job!

We have an ""interesting"" job that I'm taking bids on that involves multiple houses on a private water supply. Joe came out and took a look, said he'd work up an estimate. We had some communications back and forth. Four weeks later then Ian comes out and looks at the job, seeming not to have any of the information that Joe had.

Time goes by and no bid. They say they are having complications with the city. Finally I get a call from their office that tells me they cannot proceed with a bid. Later, I talk to some people at the city that West Coast communicated with and it turns out that West Coast was asking them for something well beyond what I told Joe and Ian we were interested in. The city pretty much said, ""What you are trying to do is not that difficult. West Coast was assuming that you wanted something entirely different and much more expensive and extensive.""

My takeaway is that these folks didn't understand the scope of the project and their internal and external communications were poor.

Our washing machine was leaking water, but it was coming through the floor/wall. West Coast Plumbing reached out to me through Angie's List, and was out to my house within a day or so. If there was any delay, it was on my end.

Joe came out, was very professional and helpful. He asked before he made any changes or modifications. He diagnosed the problem, and fixed the issue very quickly (some piping had come loose within reaching distance). He gave me two options, with price points: 1. he could fix it, and I would be charged a baseline amount, or 2. I could deny further service, it wouldn't cost me anything, beyond some plumbing glue. Joe told me what glue to get and how much it would cost. Boom. Problem fixed. I will call them again if I have any plumbing issues.

Best plumber ever! I didn't get the guy's name, but he had a full reddish colored beard. He was super nice, identified the leak very quickly. He showed me exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Will definitely be calling these guys again for any plumbing problems in the future.

Showed up late and was charged for ""Trip Charge"". Which we were not informed of this charge when scheduling a date/time for them to come out. When we expressed this to him, We were told, ""We should know this, everybody charges this fee.""
They advertise ""Before you let your plumbing issues get more out of control, call us for your free price quote at 360.915.6457.""
West Coast's bid was unbelievably high, 3 x higher than the company we chose to have do the work, The other company did not charge us a ""Trip Charge"" fee either. Our advise is to make sure you call around and get other bids and when doing so, ask to see if they have Trip Charges. As not everyone charges you for this as we found out.
You will save time and money.

We are new to the area and our well water filter housing was leaking. I called these guys hoping they could come the same day, and they did. Bill and his assistant were very cordial and professional, and they got the job done efficiently. Thanks, guys, I really appreciate your help! I would call them again if i need help.

We had a plumber from West Coast come out to fix our issue. They were apparently swamped and the guy was very apologetic for the delay. He found the issue and got it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. He was polite and courteous. He gave us a good rundown of what went wrong and what he did to fix it. Super professional and we would recommend them for any plumbing work.

Short story: Ian calibrated my pump incorrectly and refused to admit it, telling me that the way my pump was acting was ""normal."" I finally had to have another company come out and fix the problem he caused (every company I called assured me that what I was experiencing was not normal). I was left with a bigger problem and less money. This is an incompetent and dishonorable company.

Long Story

My well went dry, so I had Ian come out to look at my pump. My pump was on a timer and would turn on at a certain time. If it sucked in air, the control panel would shut the pump down.

Ian came out and dropped his sensor down my well, and it got stuck. He told me he could drop my pump down and get me into water, but he needed help and would come back the next day. The next day he and another man pulled my pump out (it was 58 feet deep) and found out that it was as low as it could go. He said it was lucky thing his tool came unstuck, or he would have charged me for it. He then charged me $650.00 for pulling out my pump and putting it back in -- nothing was repaired, and the work he told me he could do was not done.

The next morning, I went out to see if I could push the reset button. He had changed the control panel to only activate every 5 hours. I found the pump running, but I still had no water. This had never happened before. My control board has always shut off the pump. I called Ian immediately, and he said, ""Your control panel was out of sync, and I fixed it."" I felt sure something else was wrong, but he said it was fine. I finally decided to turn off the power until there was enough water in the well, so I wouldn't burn up my pump. Ian came out on Monday morning, checked it out, and said ""That's just the way it is. You just don't have any water down there, and maybe your control board is going bad. I calibrated it correctly. The person who put it in 13 years ago did it wrong"".

I told him I thought that he had done something wrong, again. He insisted he did not. So I paid him, at that point thinking that it was possible that I was mistaken. After all, he's the professional. But then I called four other companies, and all of them said the same thing: the pump should not be running if there is no water. I had another person come out. He calibrated the control panel, and now it works. He tested it in front of me to show me, and he also was able to test the water level without putting a tool into the well (and without getting anything stuck). I wish I had had this company come out first. Now that I have paid them, I know that I wasted money on Ian when all he did was break my pump and threaten to charge me extra for his inefficient tools! Ian has yet to admit he did anything wrong. I am out a lot of time and money. Don't waste your money here! You'll just have to pay somebody else to fix the mess Ian makes.

Beware! Claimed no inspection was required. After multiple problems owner engaged county inspection (which IS required). Inspector came to site 3 times.West Coast Plumbing Failed inspection 2 times.
Very pricey for incomplete work. No re-plumbing to exterior spikets.
Infestation of mice inside home for failure to seal floor plumbing!
Floor insulation was not re-installed - left hanging.
Crawl space codes not met per inspection - blocked space entry.
Drywall repairs never performed for inspector-required relocation of tankless water heater.
Inspector stated work was very pricey for what was performed and that it was 'SLOPPY.'
Additional tankless water heater (additional cost) was externally mounted with no insulation or protective cover.
Owner spent another $2000 for completion and repairs with another contractor.
Complaint filed with BBB.
West Coast Plumbing solicited a signature for waiving responsibility for damages AFTER their occurrence, before they would complete inspector-required work.
