Very responsive. And reliable. Every time we called Werner, which is usually for a ""pseudo-emergency,"" they are efficient and respond in a timely fashion. Very pleased with their workmanship, expertise and their workers.

Like many they have been effected by a shortage of qualified workers and an overload of service requests in the busy summer season

If you have a plumbing issue in the summer months that requires immediate attention they cannot always get to you fast enough

They do HVAC and plumbing service and repair both. Look for a plumbing only contractor for plumbing need's especially urgent ones. It is just the reality of the business in the summer months

The other fact is that because they have so many loyal customers with long term relationships they will prioritize those folks over new customers. Same priority is given to year round residents vs rental vacation home owners.

Secretary ""Linda"" is rude and argumentative. She very unprofessionally refused to divulge their tax ID number for 1099 to prove they forward the taxes I was charged. She told me to ask her accountant, but also refused to divulge accountants name. She claimed they are an LLC; Then thought maybe a Corp. They have multiple business names listed: James M. Werner Plumbing & Heating, James M.Werner, Inc, James M.Werner Sons Inc.....
I think it's a better idea to work with ethical companies. And why not choose to do business with people who are nice?

Called Werner for AC repair on Fathers Day, Sunday, came out in 30 min, was extremely professional, and got the AC working. Thought they would wack me for holiday and weekend but he was totally awesome and fair priced. Highly recommend! Victor was phenomenal!

TERRIBLE!!!! Tried to get an estimate for heater replacement and installing central air. The lady on the phone was UNBELIEVABLE. Made no sense at all. Going on and on that it would take 2-3 weeks to get the work done, then that long to get a estimate. She wanted to know if it was my primary home. Then the light bulb went off. THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK FOR PEOPLE IF IT IS YOUR SECONDARY HOME! She was beating around the bush so much before I realized why she was acting so insane. Well good for them, I am happy for them that they are so busy they do not need any work from second home owners. Do not even bother calling these people unless you want your head to explode after talking to the crazy lady who answers the phone.

First of all, the receptionist is very rude and doesn't know anything about customer service or experience. Second of all, who owns a business and doesn't come out and provide an estimate of the work? The phone attendant responded that they just come and do the work and provide no estimate. Usually because it costs more than what the original quote was...that was her answer.

Jim Werner or his guys are always there, and always do a good job. Recently we lost our old hot water heater, they was there the next day, replaced it and we were back in service. As one of his guys said, ""Lady, this water heater is older then I am!"". The young guys were courteous, professional and competent. They left the area as clean as they found it.

The owner (when you can talk to him) is very nice. His secretary Joann, has the WORST attitude problem. She is in a customer service position and she does not know how to converse with customers. Also, called over a month ago for help with plumbing issue, finally was told today after leaving a message again today that I would need for someone else to take care of the issue. I should have been told a month prior. Plumbers are not available for weeks out. Werner plumbing needs new staff starting with that Witch of a secretary Joann.

I struggled to give this company even one star. They basically put me through 3 days of BS. Said they were coming out, waited all day for them at my vacation home. Never showed. Called again the next day, they said ""Oh sorry..we promise we will be out tomorrow. Never showed, or called. Call them back they basically say sorry we are too busy. This company has been most likely ripping people off for a long time as they are one of the few plumbers in town. DO NOT USE THEM.
