Rarely these days do you come across truly remarkable people in business who do the right thing for the customer, it is usually the opposite. When I talked to Dan last week, I was truly impressed.

As a shade tree mechanic, I have fixed most things over the past 50 years. I had a leak in the shower that I tried to fix it and I could not stop the leak. I gave up and decided to call a professional to come fix it.

After calling Welter Plumbing, Dan asked us to send a few photos of the problem. He called back a few minutes later and we talked briefly. He gave me fantastic advice over the phone. 15 minutes later, I fixed the leak.

I am truly grateful for saving me hundreds of dollars on a service call and would highly encourage to reach out to Welter Plumbing for ALL your plumbing needs.

Highly recommended! We had a sewer problem where they came out and rodded from our toilet to clear a soft blockage. Excellent service, quick response, very helpful information and transparency of costs (and nice people). Highly recommend this company for excellence in every respect! A pipe slowly leaking water coming from the city (that was behind paneling) in my basement has been repaired; a new Chicago Faucets faucet replaced the leaking, unrepairable one at my laundry tubs; replacement of all piping under my kitchen double sinks (loose connections, had leaked in the past). Also, one sink strainer basket was found to be leaking. Welter came out another day with the part in the finish I needed. Well worth the cost and peace of mind knowing Welter has taken care of all my plumbing issues.

They are awesome!! I had to use them 3 times over the course of 7 years. As a first-time home owner, I had a minor plumbing issue. They were honest (said they didn't want me to pay $$) and patiently walked me through on the phone so I could do it myself. The second time, they came to my house. They were professional and fairly priced. The third time was when I was selling my home. The inspector's report asked for a missing valve per code. The buyer wanted credit. I called Welter Plumbing and Eric explained to me that the valve is not necessary in our house (given the type of plumbing system we have) and not a violation of code. He sent me a letter/documentation to provide to the buyer the same day. It's been so wonderful to have discovered Welter Plumbing. I hope they cover Glenview too.

I called Welter plumbing to set up an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate on a backup battery powered sump pump replacement. Given the current system's age, 10+ years, I wasn't sure if it would be prudent to have it repaired or if I should have it replaced. Once the plumber learned that my current backup was a high quality system, trusty warns, he encouraged me to contact the company to see it if it was under warranty and, therefore, worth repairing & keeping. After a few minor adjustments I found out my old system was still good and no replacement was needed. Because of Welter plumbing's counsel I was able to have an operational backup sump pump without it costing me a dollar. When I was considering buying a replacement backup sump pump, from an online supply house, they gave me sound professional advice on which model to purchase from the zoeller company. This is a good,honest business that will assist you even when they don't stand to profit by doing so. I will highly recommend this genuine company to my friends and neighbors when they are in need of plumbing services.

Our kitchen drain pipe behind a wall cracked and leaked into our basement. On 6/22 Jesus and Johnny came, they had to pull the dishwasher away from the wall, cut into the wall and cut out the broken pipe. The new pipe was installed in 2 hours, afterwards the guys cleaned and vacuumed the work area. The guys were knowledgeable and friendly. We are happy with Welter's service and price point. We've been using Welter for over 25 years.

Eric and Victor were here today and we can't even begin to say how happy we are . We actually had two other plumbers out in the past 6 months and Eric is the one who did things correctly and solved all our problems and made complete sense . He told us things and found things for us that the other two companies didn't even think about. These guys are definitely our new plumbers from now on and we are just thrilled .The price was awesome too. Our neighbors recommended them to us and others in our neighborhood are using them and it's clear why . We purchased this new home in November and we had so many plumbing issues and concerns . Eric and Victor did camera work and actually got out to the main line, inspected and worked on our catch basin, found where kitchen piping leads , implemented ideas about how to make sure certain piping was what they thought it was , inspected our ejector pit , gave us advice on bathroom issues we were having , FOUND our flood conTrol system that nobody else cared enough to find nor could find , went down into it , explained our old system to us and recommended what type of electrical we needed to make sure our pumps stay working and told us how to maintain our systems , told us about the different systems our neighbors have and why they are the way they are , I could go on and on . But suffice to stop here and say I cant tell you how relieved we are to finally on our 3rd try find this company and these men. They also are very kind and caring and love what they do. It was obvious . Epic crew and company ! Thank you Eric and Victor.

Love these guys. Basement backing up. They made an emergency call. Worked late. Then came back in the morning to put an external access point in. Pulled permits and everything. Good pricing. Cheaper than their quote. We had the roots grow back in 3 months. They came back and rodded the out at no cost. These guys are it from here on out.
