Hard to schedule an appointment for even a simple estimation. Exchanged 15 ish emails to get on the schedule, scheduled for 3 weeks out, I confirmed last week and unfortunately Welter cancelled the appointment the day before. So much wasted time - they must be too busy for new business.

We hired Kevin and his team to handle some extensive drywall patching throughout our house. The crew was very professional and prompt, finishing the project on schedule and with the quality work that we expected. One of the best things is that they did an outstanding job cleaning up all of the dust and debris from the drywalling, which is not something that all contractors take the time to do. It's nice to work with a reliable company that offers a wide range of services, and we are planning to hire Welter again for future jobs. I would recommend Welter for any type of home repair.

Spoke with Kevin for 1/2 an hour to explain some projects I'm interested in getting quotes for. Caulking a small area in the bathroom, clean and/or paint a brick fireplace and my main issue finding the source of a leak. He asked my availability to come over and look at these things and said he would check his calendar and call me the next day. It has been 3 weeks and no word from him. I'm guessing these projects were things he wasn't interested in doing.

I was very happy with the work done by Welter Home Services. Kevin was easy to reach and communicate with, especially given how busy they are. Kevin and Dan put in a garbage disposal (including all necessary wiring/switching) and new closet doors for us, and we will be using them to re-tile our bathroom floor as soon as we decide on tile. They also replaced a shut-off valve for the kitchen sink, and when our main supply valve to the house got stuck (common on older houses), Kevin quickly coordinated a licensed emergency plumber and the Village Public Works department, to get the water shut off at the street and the main supply valves replaced immediately. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Kevin will soon be doing phase two of repairs for me. Phase one was amazing. I gave him a list and he and his team blew threw tile, doors, plumbing, etc. The processes were all explained and he is professional in all communications. You are going to hire an ethical pro here, what else can you ask for. He will make 100% sure you are a happy camper when all s done too. Again, his work is so good, I hired him back for round 2. I am selling my home and only trust him to repair the things needed to make it ready for market.
