Trevor from Wellman Plumbing was great! Showed up on time, masked and ready to go. Fixed our Whirlpool water heater with no fuss and no hassle. Now our dishes are washed and I'm clean and happy. :-) Not much more I could ask for.

My 3-years' old Whirlpool water heater stopped working. It showed flushing error code 10. Since it is still within labor warranty, I called A.O. Smith customer support. They gave me a warranty #. Then I called a few service providers. Some of them never returned my calls. Travis from Wellman Plumbing retuned my call.
Travis came in the next day. He checked my water heater, cleaned burner screen, restarted the water heater, etc. He also replaced the burner for A. O. Smith water heater recall. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job. My water heater works now. I do recommend his service.

Trevor originally responded to an urgent call (water heater died while my wife is recuperating from major surgery) and did all possible to get me at least back in business via phone until the repair work could be done. I got the new part in under manufacturer's warranty, and he slotted me into his full schedule the day the part arrived. He explained everything, answered any questions I had, and went above and beyond just the part swap out in the way he serviced my water heater. I heartily recommend this business!

I can't rate Trevor and Wellman Plumbing highly enough.
We made the mistake of buying a new water heater through Costco three years ago (they no longer offer this). Costco's contractor installed an A.O. Smith water heater.
About a month ago, the water heater started emitting loud bangs. Seriously, the bangs were like gunshots. Then five days ago, the pilot light went out and wouldn't restart.
We've been without hot water since then. Not fun, but Wellman Plumbing to the rescue.
Trevor told me he does a lot of these as warranty service for A.O. Smith. He was highly organized, respectful, easy to understand -- even non-technical person me understands the problem now -- just a nice, nice guy. I wanted to take him home with me except 1) I was already home, 2) my husband would probably object and 3) I'm sure he has other unfortunate A.O. Smith customers waiting!
He even explained to me how to fix the recirculation pump on our system, which isn't even part of the water heater.

No idea how everyone gave this company a good rating? Customer service was terrible! I would be hesitant to call this guy! Here's our story and why:
We received a brand new Whirlpool water heater for our original water heater since it was under warranty. After installation, it was making a loud humming noise when the burner starts. The sound was echoing from our garage and we could hear it in our bathroom. Called the Water Heater Technical support center and notified the technician on the noise issue.
The technician referred 'Wellman Plumbing' to replace the burner and to fix the issue. They ordered the part for this plumber to do the work.
My hubby was told by the Whirlpool Warranty technician, they contacted 'Wellman Plumbing' and expect a call from 'Wellman plumbing' to schedule the repair.
Two days later Trevor from 'Wellman Plumbing' called that morning he had the part and scheduled the repair. My hubby and Trevor both agreed for the repair on the same day between 11am-1pm. My hubby went home early from work and waited until 1:30pm. My hubby had to be the one to contact Trevor since he did not meet the appt. Trevor stated his work van was not working and won't be able to do the service the day. It would've been nice to get a courtesy call earlier but nothing. He apologized for the inconvenience and he would call once his van was fixed and reschedule the repair. Apology too late.
Waited two days again and still no call. My hubby called 'Wellman Plumbing' again and left a voicemail for Trevor. He returned my hubby's call and stated he's too backed up and couldn't provide a date or time to replace the burner on my water heater. Really?? He already had a part and appt with us earlier?!? He should have honored our appt or at least, be first for next appt. He probably would rather take the other callers instead of us? It might be because this was a warranty service call and not a his direct business call?
Trevor recommended for my hubby to call the Water Heater warranty again and to ask for another plumber to make the repair instead of him. Is that a brush off?! We figured he did not want to do the repair/replacement but it would've been nice to get a courtesy call. We should've known better from our first encounter with Trevor.
We should've called the warranty service center on the first cancellation but 'Wellman Plumbing' had good ratings on Yelp and he already had the parts for the repair. My hubby told him we would stick with him to make the repair. But in the end, he left us hanging and we would have to wait till next week for the repair with a different plumber.
I gave him only one star for at least, calling us back and apologizing. The rest, beware. His service is ify!! Good luck people! [45/100]

Trevor is a nice honest guy . I would not hesitate to call him again for other repairs. Thank you !

Trevor is super honest and knowledgable. I had an issue with my AO Smith water tank and called him. He was very efficient and thorough on the phone. His estimate was reasonable based on others specialists I spoke to (some were just outrageous). He arrived at promised time. And once on site he saw that there was a less expensive way to fix the problem so he did it that way. He earned my trust today.

When we used hot water, our two year-old water heater would make loud booming sounds before the burner would come on loudly. Soon after the heater stopped producing hot water, so we had to call for a plumber. I talked with Trevor of Wellman Plumbing. After telling him the brand of water heater and its symptoms, he diagnosed the problem & quoted the repair fee. The part needed to fix the problem was under warranty which he confirmed. Trevor came on time, fixed the problem in the time he promised, was neat & charged what he quoted. If you need a plumber, I highly recommend calling Wellman Plumbing.

There was a loud noise every time I used the hot water from my new Whirlpool water heater science it was installed by my contractor. I tried to find the answer online by failed. I couldn't even find a similar case.
It is under the warranty of Whirlpool. I tried to call them. The receptionist was friendly. She gave me phone numbers of 3 plumbers near me. After checking the reviews, I chose Wellman Plumbing.
When I described the problem of the water heater, Mr. Wellman knew what's wrong through the phone. He came to my house several days after I called. He knew the reason immediately, and change the burner for me. And it was fixed!
Mr. Wellman did everything carfully. He also check all the details of my water heater because I said I smelled the gas leak while I was checking the noise. I feel that I found someone I can trust for years.
Highly recommended.

I had an AO Smith water heater installed by another plumber and had nothing but problems. Finally I was referred to Mr. Trevor Wellman (AO Smith service contractor).
The first issue was recurrent. Water heater would shuts down with 10 flashes. The installer has called customer support and tried corrections to no avail. Trevor spent a good 4 hours to locate and fix the issue. It turns out that the gas nozzle was incorrectly installed in the factory and gas is not projected directly into the burner.
2 weeks later I had a different problem that when burner kicks in, it has this loud vibration noise that can be heard across the entire house. Mr Trevor Wellman fixed it again.
Fixing a problem is given requirement to all service man. But I noticed what's different about Mr. Wellman is that he is always nice, calm, confident and humble. He does not brag or BS like some other plumbers.
When the brand new water heater broke 4 times in the first 3 weeks I almost decided to call a lawyer and ask the original installer to take it away and give me full refund. I am glad I decide to give it one more chance when they referred to Mr. Wellman.
I am extremely unhappy with the product (AO Smith water heater GCNH50 and have filed multiple complaints about it) but because of my confidence with Wellman, I decided to keep this water heater knowing that he can fix any problem under warranty.
