Welch's plumbing has been solving my plumbing problems for several years. They have always been great. Once again, they solved clogged pipes in the kitchen sink, 2 bathtubs, and 1 bathroom sink. Great job, courteous, skillful. Great Co. including Stormy, the office manager. Thank you Jeri

When The guys from Welch's plumbing show up they do great work. They installed a tankless water heater for the back of the house and separated the sinks and showers back there from the the water heater in the front of the house. I now had two hot water systems and was very pleased with the work.
However, after the Big Freeze of 2020, along with the power outages, the tankless water heater froze up and burst an internal pipe. Good news: Welch's Plumbing came quickly and reconnected the hot water from the front of the house back to the back of the house. This was to be a temporary fix until the damage could be assessed and parts could be acquired.
After 5 months of phone calls with no calls returned, we finally got them to come out to assess the damage. $95 later (1 hour labor) they couldn't really tell me if the thing was repairable or if we needed a new tankless heater. They promised Chance would get back with us and let us know which way to go. That was on August 8th. It is Now December 6th and Welch's Plumbing has ghosted us. Calls not returned. Not sure if I made him mad about something or he is just sloppy about getting back with his customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company unless you have a one time job, and don't care if, or when, it gets done.

We recently bought an old farmhouse that I totally renovated. My first experience was when I built a new barn/ workshop and he gave me a price and an install date. Then I called him a couple of days prior to the date he gave me and he told me that he wouldn't be there because he was over booked and lost a plumber. Well I understand that but I had concrete scheduled a couple of days after that. But he never called me to tell me! I ended up getting a plumber out of Austin and they came out the day before concrete and did a wonderful job. Ross plumbing if you want to know.
The next we were interviewing plumbers for our house and my wife wanted to talk to Chance Welch (the owner) and give him an opportunity to do the house. He gave us a price but was not the lowest bidder. He was local and so we went with him. He did a good job on our house and we were happy with his work even though we had a minor problem with one of his plumbers. All was still good.
Then this is where things went down hill. He gave us a price to install a conventional septic system $13K . We got a price on an aerobic system $8500. This septic company was recommended by the county and all of his references were really good. So we went with him.
I called Chance Welch to hook up my workshop/barn which is pretty involved with some trenching and a grinder pump installed to get it to the new septic system. He met with the septic company and he assured me that there was not a problem. He was to give us a price to do all of that and 1 toilet and 2 sinks. I called him and he said that he had a price go us but never sent it. After that both me and my wife have called many times and left messages on his phone! We have texted him many times and he has never called us back. I don't understand why. If he didn't want to do the job all he had to do is say that! And I wouldn't have wasted several weeks getting another plumber. I have always paid him what he wanted without fail. I never complained but some of his extras were pretty high. All I can say is be careful if you use this company!

Everything started okay and seemed straightforward with scheduling and logistics. We bought a house and the kitchen sink was draining slowly. The house sits on property and just had a pipe running underground out into the field to drain water. When they tried to unclog it, everything collapsed inward and clogged the sink 100%. They said the couldn't fix it that day and would call back tomorrow with a solution and estimate. I never heard back from them and had to call two days later on Monday when they were open. I called and they said I would get a call back when the plumbers came in but didn't hear anything until after 1pm when I missed the call already explaining what I already understood on voicemail. I called back right away and no one answered. I never heard from anyone after that. So, on Saturday I was left without a working sink at all. I went with another company who came out that same week and fixed everything.

When the summer months came and we tried to water the lawn, hot water came out the lines. Mr. Welch told us he would come out and fix the problem but he never showed on the days he was suppose too. I called numerous times and he didn't returned my phone call. I am surprised and disappointed because he seemed like an honest man.

We live far out and they came out and told us we needed a new water heater. Not the news we wanted, but he worked with us where we went and bought a water heater from Home Depot and then he came and installed it. Very kind, on time and professional!

I'm so pleased. I needed the pipe from the clean out to the city sewer line replaced as it had disintegrated. Polite from beginning to end. Great price. Excellent work. Did the job and filled the dirt and cleaned up. I'm a realtor constantly looking for good pros to recommend. Let me tell you, a good plumber is hard to find. These guys were great. I highly recommend. And I could pay with a credit card which many companies don't allow. Miles!
