I called him regarding a leak that left water damage and he referred me to Quick Dry who then proceeded to screw me over. He must be getting money for referrals, in which case, he is also terrible.

Beware of Mike Welch and Welch Plumbing ...they do not follow through with their warranty. Their faulty work led to water damage in our home subsequent to a re-piping they did ...Mike would not fix or take any responsibility for the problem....This Guy is all handshakes and smiles setting up the job....but when it comes to follow-through it's a letdownL Beware!!!!

I was hesitant to replace an ice maker box/valve behind our refrigerator. I called the general number and Mike promptly returned my call. Mike was honest about his busy schedule, but walked me through the installation process over the phone. He even texted me with photos to confirm the type of valve I needed. I then felt confident enough to replace the valve myself and did so with minimal effort. I obviously can't speak for his work product, but the fact that he gave free instructions to a new customer over the phone speaks volumes. I'm sure many plumbers wouldn't have talked to me, or would have charged a fortune for a 20 minute job. His help was much appreciated.

No good. Tried calling multiple times, but was unable to leave a message. When someone called me back, he asked ""is this an emergency."" I answered ""no, but I was unable to leave a message because your number wouldn't let me."" He then hung up on me. This guy apparently doesn't want new customers. I'll go find someone else who needs the business.

Welsh's Plumbing is exceptional. I regularly visit and maintain a home in San Diego. Whenever there is a plumbing issue, I know who to call! I can't recommend Welsh's Plumbing more highly. Timely, fair priced, pleasant, honest, etc...

We live in Pacific Beach. No Problem for a Prompt Repair of gushing Water Pressure Regulator valve. Saved the day as we had Guests arriving. Our go=to Choice is Welch's PLUMBING. Have used Mike in past also for remodel last Summer . Cathie Gayman

Do yourself a favor and use another plumber.
Was 45 minutes late and after having waited for him to fix a leak 2 days he was offended because I asked him to use an inexpensive Home Depot brand faucet. Then he told me to go find another plumber. Sounds crazy but 100% true.
Wasted 2.5 days and I had to start the process of looking for someone all over again. Unstable immature and all around unfit person to offer service to the public.

I really appreciate Mike Welch who came quickly to fix several plumbing problems. He did a great job at a very reasonable price and was very honest and straightforward. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a plumbing problem.

I had a leak emergency on a Friday, and Mike was able to schedule a visit by 11:00 am. He and his assistant fixed the problem within a few minutes and saved the day. I was so pleased with the service, I immediately booked them for more work next week (to replace an old toilet). I told them about how I need a contractor to update my bathrooms, and they provided two trusted vendor numbers to get bids. I highly recommend them for great service with integrity.
