As the only dealer of Amana Heating & Cooling equipment in the area, Our team consists of licensed master and journeyman plumbers and certified mechanical contractors. In our showroom, a selection of products, including heating units, cooling units/heat pumps, boilers, wood and gas stoves, fireplaces and inserts, sinks, taps, commodes, and storage solutions for kitchens and bathrooms. We offer residential, industrial, factory, and institutional sales services, maintenance, and installation. The Parts Department provides a selection of plumbing and heating parts for your repair needs.
Since 1959, we have been committed to the Alpena community and surrounding areas. We have been honored as Sunrise Side's Best Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Service Provider for many years.
As a long-time Alpena local, Luke brings a wealth of experience in construction. Before taking on the President's role at Weinkauf, he held project management positions at Wolgast Corp, DeVere Construction, E&V, and Talon.
In 1992, Luke earned his BS in Construction Management from Ferris State University. He holds multiple qualifications in field efficiency, financial management in construction, safety and quality, essential tools, and management in construction.

Thomas W.Had a furnace installed in 2017. Many problems during installation that were resolved, but it was terribly loud. We trusted the company to sell us the best furnace for our cabin. When we contacted the owner, he told us that noise was not taken into consideration in a sale, even though this furnace was in the middle of our living area and next to our bedroom. His resolution was to charge us an additional $2,700 for a new furnace with no guarantee of a quieter furnace. In 2019 we had another company come out to clean the furnace and discovered the ""new"" furnace installed in 2017 was actually a 2005 model. 12 YEARS OLD WHEN INSTALLED!
Eva L.I called after my city contacted me about high water usage. They sent a plumber quickly, and I showed him my basement where water was rising. He shut off a toilet in the basement and had another worker come and snake some sewage pipes. Unfortunately, I recieved another call from the city that said I still have high water usage. So I called back. The owner said he didn't have anything on record about high water use, and so he was satisfied that the guy did his job. I tried to explain my concerns and that I did mention the root of the issue, but he said he would charge again to fix the issue. I would avoid this company, as the owner does not see m to be concerned about the completion of projects or the satisfaction of paying customers.
