Recommended Customer Reviews

Caleb performed furnace maintenance. Outstanding! Caleb was thorough, explained furnace status clearly and concisely, spent time answering questions, making recommendations and very professional in presentation. We received an email invoice with comprehensive photos documenting the maintenance visit. We highly recommend Weeks!

The service request was placed the day following the problem occurring of the outside unit fan not spinning. In the evening the temperature kept rising and we called the following day as soon as the company opened. The appointment was given between 8-1 the following day because of the increased problems in Houston area due to our record 2+ months of 100+ weather. Lynn's photo and details were posted to the text about half hour before arrival - and he was prompt, efficient and most importantly professional. Listened to the symptoms and made the assessments with caveats that he clearly explained what to expect - thus reducing our anxiety. We enrolled for a VIP maintenance and are looking forward to this business relationship!

The check did actually come in the mail. 3 weeks after the call. He did want me to change my review. Still not feeling the trust. The lady that updates their side of the review said they sold the ac to me 17 years ago. I told her yes they did, and was told that with the replacement comes a free yearly service as part of the warranty. No one ever came to "free" service it. I always had to pay for any service. I hate that they lost my trust. I have used them the past 17 years.

Our AC unit stopped working and Travis Ewing was willing to come out late at night and replaced the capacitor

I can't speak to the quality of service but I can speak to the poor communication that meant I didn't even use Weeks. I scheduled an appointment for a tuneup online. The window was 8 am to 1 pm. It's a HUGE time window, but Weeks told me I could call the morning of to get a narrower time frame. So I did; I called around 7:30 am and spoke with Faith, who said my tech would arrive at 12 pm. Great, I thought, so I went to run errands. I got a call at 10:33 am from the tech. He was at my house, an hour and a half early. I informed him of my earlier conversation. Madison then called me three minutes later to tell me that since I booked online, the tech was within his time window, and we'd have to reschedule for next week.
What?!
Madison also said she didn't know why Faith had told me 12. And that the tech was "only" an hour early (no, he was an hour and a half early, but nice try).
I canceled the appointment because if they can't even give me accurate information and then try to gaslight me over a time another employee had given me, I can only imagine the scam they'd pull once they had access to my HVAC systems.
And when I expressed the poor communication to Madison, she insisted that they were within their time window. So why tell me to call to get a more accurate time? Is my time not as valuable as theirs? Why not just say, "It's going to be between 8 and 1" and leave it at that?

I just wanted to update my review. The response I received from Weeks to my review regarding resolving the issue was a lie. They only respond in a way to make it seems to others their trying to remedy the issue but their not. You might have other good reviews, but I hear most are fake.

This review is solely based on the outstanding service we received from Technician
Hunter Livingston. (Service date 12/2/22 at 8am.) He was prompt, friendly, respectful, very professional, and very knowledgeable. The techs that come out are the face of the company. And in that regard, Hunter was an amazing brand ambassador for Weeks! Either clone him or hire more Hunters. We appreciate him much!

Weeks air conditioning part of the company is absolutely terrible and 10/10 wouldn't recommend to anybody. They came to our home 5 times within a matter of 1 1/2 weeks and the problem was never fixed. There was always a "new problem" every time they came out. Every technician had something different to say. I think this company is old and running straight down hill. They just want to suck out as much money as they can from people. We've had to suffer with no working ac in the mid summer of Texas for over a week. We had a new company come out for a second opinion, and the ac was up and working with no problems the very next morning for a fraction of the cost weeks was quoting. Don't waste your time, or give this company any business endless you like throwing money away. I could go on and on with details but there is just no use. Simply just a business you'd waste money hiring/trusting.

I called Weeks Service Company over the weekend, because I thought they had installed our AC Unit in 2019. Our AC started working in reverse and only blowing out hot air. Immediately they sent a technician to our home to take a look. In between scheduling their service, I was reminded that we actually had another company do the unit previously. When the Weeks technician arrived (JOE), he was so helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. I tried to pay him immediately for his service, and even tried to just pay him when he arrived so he could home since he they did not to the initial install. He called his boss, Aaron, who was also extremely helpful. Aaron had him look at our unit and assist us in what was needed. Once the company who actually installed our unit arrived, Joe got his things together and left, again refusing payment for his hard work and time. I will forever moving forward suggest Weeks to anybody who need assistance with their heating and cooling at home. They go above and beyond the call. They came after 5 pm on the weekend and in the middle of a holiday. We were so thankful and impressed. Extraordinary team!

WEEKS' Service Company's FRAUD
We have done quite a bit of business with WEEKS for years now-purchasing/installing new equipment, making repairs and improvements, as well as paying over $200/year for their "maintenance agreement"-where they would come out twice a year to maintain the A/C system in the Spring and the heater in the Fall.
Last Thursday (12/2/21), Jesus came out to do the heater check, which shouldn't have had any problems, since it was newer and installed by WEEKS. He, for some reason decided to check the A/C, which was not common practice in our experience. He came down from the attic and informed me that the evaporative cooler was rusty and had a leak. I told him that we weren't having any problems with the A/C. He showed me pictures, but I could see no leak. He said that it wouldn't last long and should be replaced, as well as all the ductwork. He never went outside to check the outside unit. He said someone would come out tomorrow to give me an estimate.
Leigh came out early, and gave me an estimate for almost $7000. He went outside with no tools to "look" at outside unit, came back in and said it was "fine", and didn't need replacement.
I called another HVAC company to come out and look at the evaporative cooler. They did, said it was common for them to get rusty, but there was NO leak. They went out and checked pressure on outside unit and said it was fine. Had there been a leak, the pressure would have been off, but it wasn't. They also checked air flow from each vent and said it was fine.
What Jesus did, with WEEKS' support, constitutes fraud.
I began to think back:
(1) (in 2017) to being told that our heater wouldn't last, and being sold the most expensive one that they had, which ended up being too big for the space in the attic (as per installers), and really doesn't work well. This was "sold" by Anthony, who now has moved up in the company.
(2) (2016) Len coming out for an A/C check, noticing that the pan was full of water, moving it, then leaving, saying nothing. A few days later water began staining hallway under attic. This water destroyed our plenum box. This cost us over a $1000 to replace plenum and pvc piping to carry overflow outside. (Thank goodness we had Mark, who tried to fix plenum, but it was too saturated, and got us the replacement for half off.) Len is still with the company, but in another capacity.
Apparently, WEEKS "honors" those who "sell" new equipment, whether it is needed or not; something Jesus picked up on rather quickly. It simply boils down to fraudulent practices.
We will never do business with WEEKS again. My advice would be to hire an HVAC person to come out once a year to check both your systems-someone you know and trust. Also, just as important, do your research! Google anything you are told is wrong, or any relevant question you may have. It's online that I learned evaporative coolers normally rust, and that rust can be easily removed-enhancing the life your system, but apparently WEEKS didn't want this done.
