After calling three or four other plumbers in the area who were not able to come on the same day and some who did not even pick up the phone, I called Webster plumbing and heating. The dispatcher picked up the phone within 10 seconds and had a plumber at my house within 15 minutes.

The plumber who arrived was named Kevin Ford. He was super professional and courteous and within 15 minutes he had completely fixed a serious clog In one of our toilets.

He was careful to lay out a tarp so as not to make any mess. Hey saved the day!

I strongly recommend Webster plumbing and heating and if you can ask for Kevin. Five stars!

I'm giving this 5 stars already and Liam the service man is here and hasn't even fixed what seems to be a water level issue yet. Prompt, extremely knowledgeable and nice guy! He told me exactly what he thinks the issue is and even educated me on how my furnace works. Who does that anymore! Webster does! I have a really good feeling there will be heat in no time! Thanks to my friends Mike and Glenn for independently recommending Webster!

Look no further than this company for your heating needs!

Webster has worked numerous jobs for my parents.
My parents' house is almost 100 years old. They have always provided excellent service. On the one occasion when a complication arose after they completed a job, they came back in a timely manner and took care of it.
I'm sure the entire crew is excellent but Jason Gaynor is the employee we are most familiar with.
I am certain that you would never be disappointed in the quality of his work or his professionalism.

We've only had the best experiences with Webster Plumbing which is why I called them when a 7 week old kitten fell down a pipe and into a dry well that was 6 feet down. Mike and his entire team came immediately. They spent 4 hours digging, scoping, drilling through pipe and concrete to reach the kitten who was down 6 feet and crying, while a crowd of 20 watched hopelessly as they worked to save her. Oden (one of their employees) squeezed himself into the hole while the guys held his feet and was able to pull this adorable kitten to safety. The entire team took heroic measures and never gave up! I rushed Grace (which we named her) to my vet where she spent 2 weeks recovering from hypothermia and undernourishment. She was quickly adopted and now has a loving home. Lastly, when I asked them for the bill they said, ""No worries - we're just were glad we could save her."" Needless to say, all of us who witnessed this miracle will always use Webster Plumbing! They are truly hero's and brought so much joy to so many!

Webster plumbing came out to service the boiler I have in my home. It wasn't working properly and they said I would need a new one. After a closer look they figured out they would be able to fix it at half the cost of replacing it. I'm very thankful they were honest and came forward with this information instead of trying to squeeze as much money out of me as they could. I can tell this is a truly honest company with great guys. Will definitely be doing business in the future and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I wish I could put two 'star ratings' for the same review... Service would be four star but pricing would be one star. I have used Webster Plumbing three times. The first time was a complicated job that two other plumbers failed at (required wiring and plumbing). The other two jobs were basic - replacement of zone valve for example. Their work is excellent. Their rates are extremely high. This is our second home and I have used plumbers no less than 15 times. Webster is the most expensive but I know the job will be done right. I will however be looking for a new plumber for most of the jobs I need. I can no longer justify $300/job in labor when total work took less than 20 minutes (charged two hours labor). The three times I have used them, they have had to go get the part - for the basic jobs, most plumbers have the parts on the truck. Not having the part allows them to continue to charge the hourly rate while they are driving to get the part. Pricing for parts seem reasonable. They are right in the middle of what I could order from reputable places over the Internet and from the local plumbing supply store. I wouldn't say they are dishonest at all but rather are only worth using for larger or more complicated jobs.

Great job and service. My renters flushed a pile of dog slobber wipes down the toilet and clogged the main house drain which backed up and came out the basement toilet and shower! I called Webster plumbing and they had it resolved within a few hours. Saved me a lot of stress because I was away on vacation when this happened! Thank you!!!!

Last night I realized one of my hot water heaters conked out given all of the water. I called Webster Plumbing on referral from my boss and Bob was incredibly friendly. He told me he would get someone out tomorrow(today) to check. I asked him over the phone what he had thought, given I had 2-40gal hot water heaters connected from year 2002. He instructed me not to replace both, just convert and downsize to 1-50gal. Bob and his crew showed up at 9am, and were done by 12pm today-less than 24hours later, I was able to take a warm shower! Top notch service, i'd highly recommend!

Webster plumbing is dishonest and unwilling to honor their faulty service. We were in the process of buying a home in Morris Plains but were living in Chicago at the time. Our home inspector recommended having a section of the pipe replaced to prevent problems in the future. Mind you that there were no leaks when the inspection was done this was a preventative measure. The sellers hired Webster plumbing to do the work with a very expensive $1,000 price tag. It is horribly disappointing that the sellers used such a dishonest company.

The first time we flushed a toilet the pipe leaked.

We had Webster Plumbing come look at the damage and they would not help us, they claimed the pipe didn't leak when they left and offered no warranty on their service. This is shoddy work because the pipe wasn't leaking before they came and it was leaking immediately afterward. Webster Plumbing quoted another $1,000 to fix their fault.

We refused to give them any more money and used another local company, Paul Cullen Plumbing who fixed it for $960 (tax and all) and gave a 1 year warranty on their work.
Spare yourself the unnecessary expense and headache don't use Webster Plumbing.
Yours truly,

2/5/14:

You can find better service, but you can't pay more! I was recently quoted $150 to $300 from them to install a kitchen sink. I was charged $550 from Webster Plumbing and another $100 had to go to a handyman because the plumber did not feel comfortable cutting a hole in the counter. Also, I specifically asked 3 times that both of the shut off valves be replaced with new valves. Only one was replaced. I wasn't home at the time or else I would have insisted that the other valve be replaced. They do reliable work and they show up. I don't know why it seems that these people are in such a hurry to do the minimum that they can and charge as much as they can. It is deceptive. If anyone knows a reliable plumber in the NNJ area please refer them. These people want to get as much money as they can in the least amount of time possible.

UPDATE 2/6/14:

I spoke with Bob Webster today and he agreed to reduce the charge by charging for one hour less. Also, he sent one of his plumbers to change the valve that was not changed. Bob Webster agreed with me that it is a good idea to have both of the 30 year old valves changed. The work is now completed to my satisfaction. If this were done in the first place I probably would have given them a 4 star review, removing one star because of price. From my conversation, I got the sense that Bob really cares about his customers. If Bob would have came to my house in the first place I am sure that both of my old valves would have been changed. For me, to a reasonable point, price is not a problem as long as the work is done well. It is too bad that I need to be such a pain in the ass to get the work done. I wish Webster Plumbing the best. If I could find a plumber that was reliable that could complete jobs as requested and maybe charge a little bit less than Webster Plumbing than I would give them a call.
