We had a 75 foot sewer line that needed to be replaced. It involved digging in between two dogwood trees that we wanted to save. We called W.E. Plumbing. They did a great job, finished in one day, and charged us less than one half of what a big chain company quoted us for the job. I highly recommend W.E. Plumbing

I'm a pretty handy girl. I fix a lot of things around the house. Unless it's something major, I can usually handle it (this includes routine maintenance, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Thanks Dad for teaching me a bunch of useful stuff!) But then, I got the bright idea to call a plumber because of a sewer smell in my bathroom. And frankly, I knew I could fix it, I just didn't want to waste any time on a long weekend doing chores. I also knew that it might involve getting on the roof and I hate that so try to avoid it. I asked for a recommendation for a plumber in the neighborhood from a mailing list I am on and a lot of people told me about WE Plumb and how they were awesome. The list has never steered me wrong before. Until now. I called on Thursday. The guy said he could maybe come out that night or tomorrow (Friday) and I told him Friday would work since someone could be home. He told me to send my phone number and address to his email since he was driving at the time. And I did. And I never heard anything back from him. He didn't call all day Friday until I was on my way home from work at 5. One of his guys comes over and tells me what he thinks it is (which I already knew because remember, I'm handy and am not some dumb broad). And I'm like ok, well, fix it. Then he tells me that his van is in the shop and he doesn't have any tools and can someone come in the morning. Ok. Whatever. Around 7 that night, I say forget it and take everything apart and get rid of clogs and what not and the nasty sewer smell is gone. Did they call me Saturday morning to come stop by? Uhm no, unless you count calling me at 1pm on Saturday as the morning. Bottom line, when I tell someone I have a sewer smell coming from the bathroom, I don't want that smell. I want it gone and ultimately, it got fixed. Yes, it was by me but I couldn't wait around forever for WE Plumb to ever call me back or come by. I'm going to stick to fixing stuff like this myself and for bigger jobs, go with the guys I normally go with (like when I had to have my basement dug up and all the pipes replaced).
