I live in the miracle mile in a building that was built in 1926. My bathroom sink is original construction and it's cast iron. I found Steve Watson on Nextdoor.com but he is so great I wanted to shout his praise on Yelp. A while back a friend came to visit on her way back from Ireland. Her brand new religious medal featuring the Virgin Mary slid into the sink and down the drain and the plumber that was called said he didn't want to try to get into the plumbing because it might not go back together and appeared to be crumbling. He recommended a new sink.
I decided to just live with Mary in the drain teaching me to practice patience. Everything still worked it was just a little slower.
And then slow became stopped.
So I went on nextdoor.com because it really is a good resource for finding a local contractor (although it can be disconcerting to find out exactly how nuts some of your neighbors are). More than five people recommended Steve Watson as an excellent plumber and they were right. He stopped by after I got home from work to see if he could get my sink working. It did crumble and I was going to go out and get a new one the next day but he called and said he had been thinking about it and was pretty sure he could rebuild it. And he did!!
I am so grateful to Steve for going above and beyond and getting my sink working. He is not only an excellent plumbing contractor, he has so much integrity. He not only does plumbing he also does general building and contracting - I highly recommend Watson & Harris and I so appreciate the great standard of service.

Steve is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and professional. All the positive reviews are correct. We've had Steve come out a couple of times to fix some leaky pipes, sticky faucets, and raising our shower heads up in the bathrooms. Another time he came out to help with installing our washer and dryer. He really listens to what you want as a customer and makes sure all the work is done well. My grandma had an emergency on a Sunday, so I called Steve, it wasn't something he deals with personally but helped with referrals and recommendations to make sure we weren't being taken advantage of. He even followed up that same day to make sure all went well! Super personable and really great at what he does, I feel like all our plumbing needs are in good hands with Steve.
