I spoke to Steve and scheduled an appointment. I contacted him the day before to confirm, and he texted me to say he would contact me in the morning to let me know what time he would be there. I never heard from him again, and he never showed up.

Steve Watson is a great plumber. Hey came out multiple times to evaluate and fix a problem with our shower. He was knowledgable, friendly and did a great job!

Wow, Steve Watson is the BEST! We thought we needed a new faucet in the kitchen sink, but he repaired it with inexpensive parts. He also, while turning off the house's water for a few moments, noticed a leak outside that was probably the cause of our recent high water bills. I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you, Steve.

I called Steve to work on a problem that other plumbers have wHined about when I speak with them based on a recommendation from the next-door app. There was no complaining about Steve that he had to get into a tight uncomfortable position for long periods of time in order to fix our large Japanese tub hand sprayer. He did a great job very very clean and had to bring in another fella in order to do some minor cabinet work to get access. That guys name is Carlos. They both did a great job. Carlos is extremely meticulous as is Steve. It's obvious why they have worked together for many many years. While yes, it is true that it did take A day or two to get it resolved because he had an emergency leak somewhere I certainly have no problem with it because he was communicative and I would hope that if I had an emergency leak the person on the other end of the appointment string would be patient and that the plumber would prioritize A great experience for sure. Everyone needs a good reliable plumber in there toolbox and this is definitely Steve

My partner and I live in and rent an apartment complex with 4 different units, we've been very fortunate to have Watson and Harris always there when we need them and when the occasional emergency plumbing need arises we get same day service with an smile and an explanation of what we're dealing with. We trust and depend on Steve especially! They've been very reasonable with pricing and we will continue to call upon them in the future!

Suzie Q's Fun Facts:

The word ""plumber"" comes from the Latin word for the element of lead (Pb, or plumbium), which material pipes used to be made out of.

I had a slow, persistent leak under the sink of my guest bedroom, and finally admitted to myself that it wasn't going to go away on its own. Plus, the showerhead in my master bathroom had begun to fall apart (when water flowed through it, the fixture actually started coming apart in layers). And I suspected some of these problems stemmed from too-high water pressure, which had been cited by my home inspector during escrow a year earlier.

But I was a new homeowner, and didn't have a plumber. This wasn't an emergency, so I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a ""rooter"" company. What to do?

I went to Yelp to look for recommendations. So many people had recommended Steve Watson that I just had to call him.

Steve is a congenial guy. He doesn't nickel and dime you. You trust having him in your house.

Is he easy to make advance appointments with? No. It's best if you just happen to be ""around"" for him to pop by when both of your schedules happen to intersect (not a great fit for me, as I work out of the house on weekdays, but then again, none of my plumbing problems were urgent).

However, when you do pin Steve down with an appointment, he typically shows up on time (or at least calls/ texts courteously to let you know he's running late). And if you actually had a critical problem like a major leak or broken pipe, I imagine he'd triage appropriately and see you first.

Here's where Steve shines: My bathroom faucet ended up being the culprit for the slow leak under my sink. Steve went out of his way to research the manufacturer of the faucet (turned out to be pretty obscure, and not the highest quality), and special ordered it once the first one he purchased for me ended up missing a part. Most plumbers probably won't do all that for you. And he didn't charge me for driving to pick it up, or returning the one missing a part, and charged me for the faucet at his cost without markup. (He might have been cutting me a special deal there, since it took around a month for him to fully fix all my problems, but I still appreciated it).

I also called Steve back on a couple of occasions when his initial leak diagnosis proved not to be accurate, and when the new water pressure regulator was turned down too low (he came to adjust for free). He even snaked my drain for free (or at least, threw it in as part of his overall labor).

All told, it's nice to have a guy like Steve around.

My parents live in Los Angeles, and I needed a reliable, honest and knowledgeable plumber to assist them. A dear friend of mine who lives in Los Angeles recommended Steve. I called Steve and he immediately called me back. My parents were being billed by the city water department for a leak that was somewhere in their home. Steve was able to detect the leak, fix it in record timing and was also able to check on a leaky shower head and faucet in their home. Over the past year I have had to contact Steve numerous times because my parents home is old and there seems to be some type of plumbing problem from an overflowing toilet to a water heater problem. Even on holidays and odd hours I have been able to reach Steve. I am truly grateful that I can count on Steve to fix all our parents plumbing needs and also answer any plumbing questions I have. Steve is the best and I highly recommend him!

We had a leak and were desperate to find a good plumber. I found Steve here on NextDoor and he more than lived up to his rave reviews. He showed up on time, responded quickly to all my calls, and most importantly fixed the problem. Reasonable prices and super reliable.

Steve is a life saver. We had a flood early Sunday morning and tried four other numbers before we got to Steve. He answered and was at our door step within 30 minutes. He was so kind and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and told us he would check back in with us during the week to make sure all is ok. We are thankful to have met him and will definitely be using him for our future plumbing needs. I highly recommend him.
