$660 to repair a leak my husband had already dug out ($198 per hour plus parts). Slowest repair job ever, multiple smoke breaks and plumber described the delay as him being ""methodical."" Charged for three hours for what could have been done in half that time, and that was with my husband assisting (former building mechanic, currently disabled) the entire time. Fixed income, senior citizen Vietnam Vet couldn't complete the repair himself due to recent knee replacement, or we would have saved the $660. We will never use this company again, and will make certain we let everyone we know hear about how we were taken advantage of.

okey, so after our first review last month about our first visit from Richard, we got excited about the possibilities, especially as he pointed out last time that we could just purchase an
trim kit for the shower head, temp regulator and faucet as long as it was the same brand (the unwell valves are different per each manufacturer, we should be able to do this upgrade work ourselves as it needed no in wall plumbing if we used the same brand. So we did just that. Purchased the fixture hardware from Build.com (an awesome site) and my husband was able to swap out the shower, bar and elbow by himself. Then we found that the temp regulator and tub spout were a different brand then the existing (my bad) and he couldn't get it to connect to the existing inwall plumbing. So, company coming tomorrow... called Richard, explained the problem. He was sure that he had appropriate parts and trim for the temp/shower-tub switch thingie and the spout. He was finishing up a job and advised he would come over soon. 15 minutes later, he was here, with parts in hand! Did the job on the spot. This guy is just awesome. Very fair pricing for parts and plumbing. We will continue on with Richard for the next stage of the remodel when we attach the vanity!

Showed up quickly when I had a water leak, my other plumber was out of town. Very over priced..it wasn't an emergency call or on a weekend ..charged an extra $180 because he had to go under the house??? Aren't most pipes UNDER the house....it was a quick easy fix that would have cost me $150 from my plumber. .I was charged almost $500 ..because I'm female ..then my Co worker came in said her elder mothers hot water heater went out..she called first plumber in book...charged her $1500...never again..i will shut the water off go to a motel and wait for my plumber!

He's fair, and reasonable in price, prompt, did a good job,and when I told him I was going to write a good review for him, he said he appreciates it, and for me not to forget to say he was handsome, and also very modest! I really like this guy, and he'll be my first call, from now on.

The technician arrived on schedule and completed the job quickly. I want to give a special shout-out to my technician, Walt. He took the time to thoroughly explain the process and my options. The price was very fair, the technician was very charming, the job was extremely well done, and the customer is very happy. It doesn't get any better than that!!

I had a water heater issue that i diagnosed and called Worldpool looking for the part and someone to install it. They had the part for $35 and gave me Watkins number. i did no order the part thinking that i should let Watkins make some money and then i would not have to pay for overnight shipping. So hear is what Watkins quoted me. a $109 for a service call to diagnose the problem then $90 for the part that i gave them the part number for and another $109 service call to install plus there hourly rate. That is over $300 for a part $35 that i ended up having overnight shipped $30 and installed myself in about 45 min. I feel that they were price gouging being the only Worldpool service rep in the aria. This was a standard call that should have been covered with about $100 plus a FAIR price on the parts NOT $300+ !!!

We chose Watkins Plumbing to install a new Water Heater, and an Instant Hot Water Recirculating System. Our thanks to Richard for working with us on setting up the project, and especially for having Mike come out to do the job. Mike's work product is the best we've come across, ever. We are more than pleased with how they both took such good care of us.

Excellent service! I was having issues with my hot water heater and needed someone to come by ASAP. Taking cold showers in February is not my favorite thing ever. Watkins was recommended to me when I had trouble getting someone to come by either after work or during the day without me. I work in Oroville and live in Chico, so this has caused issues in the past. Jeff drove over on short notice and worked it all out with my landlords while I was away. He ended up installing a brand new water heater and didn't mind clearing out a family of mice that had made a nest in there over the winter. I can't thank these guys enough! They are quick, courteous, and are flexible enough to work with your schedule. I've put them in my phone contacts for future reference.
