Wow. Waterworks. Where to begin. My family and I moved here from Washington State in 2019. We have a 100 year old house, and right before COVID my sewer pipes had issues and there was raw sewage filling my basement. I called my home warranty, Cinch, and they attached me to Waterworks. Bobby came out, assessed the damage, and they got to work.
Then the guy running the operation, Joe, came on the scene. My basement freezer was unplugged, ruining a few hundred bucks worth of meat. I went out one day, smiled, asked if I could get them anything-usually that means something to drink, water. Joe said ""Yeah, how 'bout some Hoagies?"" I thought it was a joke, but he was dead serious. Now if I say no, I'm the jerk. So lunch cost me 200 bucks. The day they were digging the trench to replace the pipe it was pouring. But they dug it anyway, destroying my whole yard. Joe said, don't worry, lay some sod down-it'll be cheap. They gave me options for run off to go to the curb-the dollar signs were already out of control. I ask what's the cheapest, and he tells me to run it out the side for it to just go down to the street. At this point, being new to all this, that sounded fine. It wasn't-it flooded my neighbor's driveway every day. I call, Joe tells me to just bypass it so water goes out with the sewage. What I didn't know was that it was illegal. To top it all off, the cleanout was put, sticking up, in the middle of my dirt yard-not close to the house, where it should have gone. He said not to worry, they'd cut it back in the spring and I could put a pond over it or bushes or something.
Then it came time to get Cinch to pay me three of the TEN THOUSAND it cost me for the job. I had to nag and nag and nag before he said he was on the phone with them for hours, but he had made sure to get me the best price. The check, he said, would come to him and I could come pick it up there, but he'd have to charge me for billable hours. I call Cinch, they said they cut the check immediately and it would come to my house in a few days. I called good 'ole Joe and called him on it. He said he thought I'd just want to tip him for such a bang up job they did,
A few years roll by-I had the pipe cut back, ate the rest of the costs or did things myself. Years go by.
2023. I had to call about a different issue, and I was sent to Waterworks again. I lost it. I talked to the new manager/owner, can't remember her name.. Said Joe was out, she was horrified, wanted to make it right, and maybe I'd want to give them a good review when all was said and done. Here's what 'right' looked like: They did everything they were supposed to, but they would run a new pipe to the street. They would do it for a discounted grand. Again, lost it-I shouldn't have to pay a dime. I had a friend, a contractor, come over and look after I told him about it. The pipe from basement to street is already there. There were leaves covering it.
Now I want to sell the house, and I still have to deal with this. Yeah, they sure made everything right. If I could go negative, I would.
Do not ever use this company. My home warranty sent them out and plumber did an assessment and was told my out of pocket charges would be under $500. They arrive and install the water heater and at no point told me of any issues. It was not until they were done that they stuck me with a bill of $1,500.
Stephanie J.Great job , very satisfied with the job that was done today - Rob & RJ were professional & even did some troubleshooting for me 10 's
WaterWorks came out through my home warranty company to fix an issue with my water heater. Despite the water heater being less than a year old, the gas valve had already malfunctioned and the pilot light would go out after being lit for only a few minutes leaving us with no hot water in the home. Joe and his team were able to quickly diagnose the issue, and when the manufacturer claimed it would take a few weeks for them to ship the new part, WaterWorks advocated for us with the manufacturer and were able to get us a brand new water heater installed the next day at no cost to us. The fast and friendly service was greatly appreciated by my girfriend and I! Thanks WaterWorks!
Seriously, they know what they're doing and are very professional!
When the initial company for my warranty came out, they really didn't do much to inspect, told me they need to cut into the wall and sat on their hands for two weeks. I couldn't use my shower in the meantime as when the water was redirected it was leaking through the wall.
The warranty worked with me and sent out Waterworks to come and check out the problem. They came promptly, looked into the issue and diagnosed it as a problem with the tub faucet. Honestly, there was a big difference between the last company and Waterworks, you could tell Waterworks knew what they were looking at and doing. They replaced the faucet and everything is working perfectly. I was really impressed with how they really made sure it was working properly and not leaking anymore before they left and also how the technician made sure that I knew what the problem was and how it was fixed. He really took the time to explain and I greatly appreciate that. He also gave me some advice on my shower's pipe access which was also appreciated. I'm still learning about home care and technicians like him really help home owners like myself!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Emma S.These guys were hired through a warranty company. I could write a book on the horrible experience I had with these people. Thieves and con artists is where I'll start. The sewer drain was leaking so bad it was flooding my plumbing. Because I lived close to their home, they kept putting me off to the end of the day after I waited 3 days. On day 1 they made little to no effort to find the outside drain outlet and decided it was the end of the day and called it. They did nothing. They came back the next day, after 5 pm and after I found the outlet myself to finally attack the backed up sewage. Because I'm a women they claimed I flushed baby wipes. I learned the decades before to never use baby wipes after my family's home had similar consequences. Despite that, the man, I believe Joe, called me a liar and that I used baby wipes. And that it wasn't covered under warranty. I lost it. What was the ACTUAL cause? Tree roots! After I lost it and after they flung feces and roots all over my bathroom for me to clean, they told me to increase my homeowner's coverage for tree roots so they could come out later. I'm not a fan of insurance fraud but that's what they wanted so they could make more money. Luckily, I was already covered, but I didn't tell them that. I never want them in or around my house again. Worst company ever.
Recommended by our home warranty, Rob & Amos were a true pleasure to deal with. They quickly diagnosed & resolved a leak with our shower faucet - I wish we would have called them much sooner. I appreciated their good communication, and expert skill. It was also very easy to coordinate an appointment time with their company.
