DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. Luxury plumbing??? Unprofessional and RUDE. I had ordered plumbing fixtures on the recommendation of my contractor, during the construction of a new home that was being built . Long story short, a while later the house had to be sold. When my attorney went back to try to retrieve my property that had a deposit on it, and was being held in their warehouse, they wouldnt release it. Claimed it had to be through my contractor. FYI contractor no where to be found. Waterware will not give out any paperwork to my attorney updating as to what is still in warehouse, how much is owed on it, or where any of this merchandise is...HMMM. Sound fishy? The new owners of the house wanted the plumbing fixtures that were ordered for it. I cant offer it to them. So, lets review....plumbing fixtures still in warehouse, (supposedly), MONEY IS OFFERED TO PAY FOR THEM, Waterware will not sell them to me or my attorney, even though my deposit is on them. So plumbing fixtures still sit in warehouse, and new owners of the house cant have them to finish.

Good products, friendly staff, but MAJOR problems with deliveries. The item with a three week delivery time on took over three months. The excuse was ""this item was included on a shipment that had some back-order items they were waiting for"". I guess my order wasn't important enough to ship separately so I could get it on time for my remodeling project. The other item that was in stock, just didn't get delivered on the appointed day. Here the excuse was ""the printer in the warehouse was broken"". Suggestion to anyone who wishes to purchase from Waterware: insist on withholding payment until item is delivered.

I recently began the process of remodeling my condo, including new hardwood floors, new doors (the original ones were hollow), and completely remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms. Before I began the process I visited several Chicago area plumbing showrooms as well as big-box stores (home depot, etc) as I was considering undertaking the project myself (I'm pretty handy). I soon realized that I was in over my head and hired an interior designer to oversee the project and help with my indecision.

At the onset of the project my designer brought me to Waterware, a high-end kitchen and bath showroom in the south loop. I was originally perplexed as I had not heard of Waterware, however my designer came highly recommended by several friends so I kept my mouth shut and followed her judgment. She introduced me to Larry , who led us throughout the massive showroom functioning more as a consultant than a salesperson. He helped us to select sinks and faucets for the kitchen and both bathrooms. Unfortunately I was on-call and was paged to the hospital before we had finished.

My designer stayed with Larry and selected options for the remaining shower and bath selections. I returned to Waterware later in the week unannounced and without an appointment. I asked for Larry and found out that he actually owns the company and consequently divides his time between all 3 of their showrooms. I met with Dan, the Chicago showroom manager, who was more than happy to continue assisting me with my purchase. He logged in to their computer system and quickly found Larry's notes from the day before. Dan then showed me two showerheads my designer had selected along with a new bathtub and toilets. I mentioned to Dan that I wasn't very fond of the showerhead designs; he encouraged me to explain the aspects I didn't like then lead me to their shower display to suggest another model. The shower display is huge and consist of two 10' wide real showers, each with 10 or so showerheads that ACTUALLY WORK! That was a real perk as I was able to see not only what they looked like, but also the various spray modes.

From their state of the art designer showroom to their knowledgeable staff I would not hesitate to recommend Waterware to my friends and look forward to visiting again for my next project!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! We are in the process of renovating our bathroom and simply saw this store why driving past and decided to stop. That was a big mistake.

I can understand that the neighborhood isn't changing as quickly as they hoped, thus in order to gain entry (or exit) you have to be buzzed in and out but I don't understand the attitude. We asked for a price and inventory check on a particular item and the store employee Amy snottily asked, ""Well, who are you?"" RUDE! That was insulting and completely uncalled for. Apparently this store only sells to trade people or something - this fact was not posted anywhere on the stores windows.

I fully intend on passing the word to anyone and everyone (including the manufacturers of the products I saw there) to avoid this place. As for Amy, she needs to be trained on how to treat people. What a sad, arrogant and ignorant person.
