We just witnessed one of this company's employees yelling obnoxiously out his window, waving his arms, and honking at a senior that was trying to make a turn. Grow up and learn some patience. I can't believe someone would act like such a fool in a company vehicle. I would never hire this company. Just wow. I can't believe what we just witnessed. What an utter jerk! Who would want to hire someone like that?

From the time we phoned Laurie, we had an exemplary experience with Waters Plumbing. We've used them on at least 4 different occasions throughout the years. Derek, Les, and Kelly were excellent this time around! We had a water leak under our home. It was repaired efficiently and effectively. They're professional, honest, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lastly, we expected to pay more for services rendered. Price was reasonable. This is so important. Give Waters Plumbing a try.

I called Waters pluming for a furnace problem. Wayne Waters came to house and was very polite. I explained the problems I was having and he said right off he knew what I needed. He went to his truck to call for pricing. He said the bill would be $695 and he'd be back in two days. I agreed. Wayne was not in my house for 15 minutes.
He returned and fix the problem which was a small motor that needed replacing. Again, less than a half an hour.
I looked at the bill and there was no breakout for labor or parts. I got suspicious and looked up the part on line $179 ( new, no shipping ) . I wrote Justin Waters that I was concerned that I was over charged and that, I knew there would be some mark up but where was the rest of the expense?
Justin wrote back that he charges $155 per hr. and $385 for the motor. He also included a certificate for $50 for future services.
I returned the certificate as I won't consider doing business with them again.

We usually use a different plumber, but we needed one out ASAP. So we called Waters plumbing. They were booked for the day, but said they could come out ""after hours"" at an additional rate. I gave the OK told her we wouldn't be their and you will need two 100 foot snakes for the job. I asked her about prices. I said we just needed it snaked to 150 feet. She said we have a regular time fee and an over time fee, it would be under $200.00 with those fees if just snaking the project. I also asked for an estimate on what it would cost install a cleanout.

Plumber came by, knocked on our door and left. Called office back and told waters plumbing guy just left without doing anything. She said she forgot to tell him that we wouldn't be their. She called him back and got him back on scene. Robert assessed the situation. I asked him if he brought two 100 foot snakes, he said no he didn't know anything about that. The office forgot to tell him to bring the two snakes. So he left.

The office called me, used a different name then my own. I said ""who"". She was like oops I called the wrong person. It's been a long busy day.

The job happened on Tuesday. Apparently Robert the plumber at our house fixed the issue which I am happy about. But he never called back to say the job was completed or what was done.

Called office Wednesday in the morning and evening. They said Robert never turned in his paperwork so we don't know if the job was done or what the charges are. We will have him call you ASAP. Wednesday night still no call.

Made same call Thursday morning & night. Same story.

Now Friday. 10:45 am Getting a bit annoyed. She said she will have him call ASAP. They still do not have his paperwork on the job turned in.

11 am he called. Explained what he did. Snaked the line to 125 feet and bill was $620! A lot more then the $200 office staff said it would be. What I needed was exactly what I said. Line snaked max 150 feet. Their was no other issues with the service call.

I asked him why didn't he call me and let me know what happened with the job or was it fixed. He got annoyed with me and said your lines clean now & I am here and now talking to you so be happy.

He did not give me an estimate on the cost of the clean-out either like I had asked.

Still no invoice...

Pretty unsatisfied overall with waters plumbing, the plumber's professionalism as well as office staff. Everyone seemed to have dropped the ball on this job. Thankful it's fixed, but they quoted me wrong & customer service was severely lacking on this job. They have some good reviews, so not sure if I am a special case or this is how they normally work...

Update: 1:36 pm Friday. Laura or lorie called. Super rude. Said she faxed over the invoice. She explained what was written down in computer (clogged toilet). Told her that I never said that. Was the county's main line, why we needed the 200 feet of cable. She said no record of that. I am lying. I will not change the price of the bill even with a recorded phone call between me and the lady who originally took my call. Charged me extra to go get the second roll of 100 foot tubing form the shop when I originally said they needed to bring it. So sad people have to be like this. People just don't have integrity like they used to. You think in a small town like this people would treat people better. Well good thing is word spreads fast when someone rips you off.

update: 07/12/18 - Just talked to county water department. They said Waters cleaned the blockage from the manhole cover and just went in 20 feet to open the blockage. So I guess they didn't need the 200 feet of line. The county saidsewer line was in perfect shape otherwise. Waters said the whole line needed to be replaced. County came in and water jetted the line and put a video camera in to be sure. No issues anywhere.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. Run away from this company! Told me one price then changed it without asking. Customer service reps extremely rude. Wrote incorrect service description...

I called because I had a leak and was unable to find it. The receptionist was extremely nice and they were able to come at a time that worked best for me. I got a called letting me know the plumber would be there in about 20 minutes. Derek came out and was very friendly and was able to find the leak right away and fix it. They are on the expensive side but worth it to have the leak fixed and so easy to deal with!

We recently moved to Pine Mountain Lake and woke up in our new house with no water coming out of any faucets. I called Waters Plumbing because they had some excellent ratings on Nextdoor. They were able to come out that morning and Mike was very helpful helping me evaluate the situation. The pipe had frozen and when in it warmed up the water was flowing again. I decided to change some plumbing outside as well as connect my well to the household plumbing. For me it was two birds one stone!

Robert came to do the work and I was very impressed. He took the time to figure out my plumbing, well and outdoor irrigation system. We bought the house from a woman who lost her husband and he was the one who knew how everything worked. So when I purchased the house no one was able to tell me how the lines were routed and the household, well and irrigation connections. I had the well inspector, the home inspector both whom were left confused about how it all went together. Not only did Robert take the time to figure it out, he took the time to explain it to me! This is very valuable information for me. In addition, he made some low cost recommendations that will be helpful to me in the future. The work was high quality at a fair price. I highly recommend for responsiveness, quality work and reasonable price!

I moved to Murphys and Waters was recommended to me. So I called to have my New Washer & Dryer connected with bathroom water line. Waters came out didn't have the right pipe size, so I asked him to check why my kitchen faucet water flow was low. The service guy said it was clogged. Then he gave said he would be back with the right pipe size and called in when he was able to come back. He then gave me a bill for $130.00.
I cancelled the next appointment. I got a new faucet but its still low flow. I don't think it's the faucet it's the plumbing or pipes. I don't think I should have been charged $130.00 if the they came out and didn't have the right parts to fix the pipes. I didn't even get a estimate for the job.

I try not to use handleman anymore. I try to use recommendation.

This company is clueless when it comes to hvac work. Don`t make the mistake of having this company do any installations of heating and cooling. I had them back out to my house eight times, and they still didn`t get the unit to work but just a couple of times. This was a new replacement with a Bryant unit. I finally called Bryant, they suggested to call another company which had factory trained techs, which I did and they finally got the unit to work like it was suppose too.

I had a problem with my water heater pilot light going out. A week later I had a problem with my furnace cutting off and on. Apparently, everyone ""in the business"" knows if you are having these kinds of problems at the same time, it is probably your propane regulator. Waters didn't know that. Wayne Waters himself came out and checked both of them at the same time and couldn't identify the problem. Waters charged me $650.00 in service calls for labor only and replaced 2 parts under warranty in my water heater and $276 for a new thermostat. They never fixed the problem because I didn't need either. I need a new propane regulator which was replaced for free by my propane company. I wouldn't hire them to change a light bulb.
