DO NOT CONTACT THEM! They installed a water heater for $1500 for me, but it never worked. We called the water heater company who said it was not properly installed. Steven of WaterHeaters NJ found a million reasons for their bad work. And he even hung up on me a few times!!! Now I have to find another company to fix it. Don't contact WaterHeaterNJ! Your life will feel miserable if you use them!!!!

Amazing doesn't quite sound grand enough, but this company truly is.
I called this morning around 10:00am and spoke to Steve, he gave me all the details on pricing and what was required for the water heater be installed to code. He did say he charges 4% if you pay by credit card, but he also welcomes checks and cash.
I explained the situation, he said he would do his best to get out to the condo today. Not only were his guys courteous they were in and out by 2:30pm! We are blown away with how professional, attentive and how he delivered on all his promises. I will highly recommend WaterHeatersNJ in the future.

don't understand why anyone would leave negative comments for this company. My water heater started to leak, I got a bunch of quotes, this company was by far the cheapest. I called spoke to Steven ( the owner) and he explained the process and answered all my questions. Told me to look at my unit to make sure it was up to code ( which it was). He even followed up later that day to fit into my schedule. Arrived on time. The installation was a breeze. Two well knowledgeable & personable younger guys came, They realized they had brought a tall unit and I needed the shorter one. One guy stayed and started disconnecting the old unit. The other guy went and picked up the right unit. with in an hour they were done.. Thanks Steven

I'm happy with the overall results. One thing that would have made doing this job so much easier would have been for them to ask me ahead of time what the opening width of my water heater closet was. The WH that was brought in did not fit through the opening. After much arguing between the owner and installers, with the suggestion that we would have to remove all the door moldings (I was not willing to do that. Too much damage that I would have had to repair myself), the installers suggested they come back with a different heater that would fit. The new heater fit through the door perfectly, was installed quickly, and works wonderfully. The clean-up was left for me to do. Hence, one star removed for the hassle of no hot water for a couple days, and the other removed for the time and effort it took me to clean up the mess afterwards.

I already shut off gas, water, drained old tank and had the area clean and illuminated for their plumbers. Install was just over half hour

Great company. i was able to get a water heater for my house at a very good price. They came in, installed it without any problems. Everything was done right and the work area was left very clean

Great guys to work with. We hired them to install the heater. The price is lower than everyone else we called. The service is superb. They showed up on time and were very friendly and easy to work with. They did an amazing job on installation. It's been over 6 month and we didn't have any issues. Highly recommended.

Better off going without heat or hot water than calling these knuckleheads. Long story short, owner of apartment above from mine hired them to replace their hot water heater, they ended up cutting the main water line inside the wall, flooding out my unit and the unit below, as well as that apartment. Than the owner Steve has the balls to say there was no damages!!! Fire department was called in, broke down my door while I wasn't home and shut off all my electricity. NO POWER UNTIL I HIRED AN ELECTRICIAN. Walls had to be cut open and remediated for mold, re Sheetrockers and painted, laminate floors had to be replaced, hot water heater that was two years old fried.... Cost my insurance $15K!!!

Prices were low and prompt service but the actual installation was poor. Similar experience to the earlier reviews on yelp and I only wish I had found these reviews before actually hiring them.

There were many issues with the crappy installation and when I tried calling the owner of the company the guy was just nasty. Ended up spending more hiring another plumber to do the job right. Do yourself a favor and stay away from.

Cheap price for cheap install that wouldn't pass inspection. Good luck getting them to show up on time. 9a-12 window but they showed up at 1p. During the install when they create issues as a result of their install, they will hit you with extra costs to repair any gas or water leaks that they have caused. I called in another plumber to repair their damages and will seek payment in court. I should have known it would end badly with joint connections when the guy tried to force the pipe to go at a steep incline to accommodate the new taller heater. They will also try to tell you the gas and water leak was there before and somehow you never smelled it or noticed a pool of water. You get what you pay for, save yourself a headache and go with a real plumber that won't cut corners to ""save you money"". My mistake was going with the cheapest and assuming they wouldn't cut corners. Now I see why the other plumber was shocked at how they could do an install for so cheap. He knew what I didn't, that his job would be complete and this one would be crap. It's like a moving company that loads your house in the truck and then demands more money. No issues with several contractors to remodel a bathroom yet a simple hot water install requires small claims court. Additional charges to pay via credit card. #fail
