I needed a new water heater since mine was so old (1980's) and no leak yet. Just less hot water. I called Waterboys plumbing on water heater replacement costs They came the next day; the guy was super nice, knowledgeable, quick to replace old water heater with new 40 gallon one and fastened it down which old heater was not. He had to do a little drilling to fastened it. The young man also cleaned up with shovel and broom, after he was done! Great job!

I used Waterboys a couple of months back to install a tankless water heater and clean up some other piping. They were friendly and good to deal with.
They advised on the best brand/model and had me purchase it...to save me money. Provided me the link to get over half of the heater paid by rebate. They showed up on time and worked efficiently...which saved me money.
These people who complain about hourly rates really have no clue what things cost in 2023!
Everything is working as expected and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

i have dealt with WATERBOYS/ Tommy few years ago. Sure wasn t cheap, but the work they have performed was perfect and clean. I guess you pay for what you get. I was happy and recently i called him again, based on my positive experience. He came in very short time for an estimate, which was high, but i was in rush to finish this job , connected to another one, and remembering the good work he did, i accepted his price. He scheduled for a certain day, so i lined up everything for the next job. He came on time telling me he could not do the work, but it would happened few days later. That messed up all my plans . When he showed up the next appointment i was there looking and it seemed to me they could not figure it out. It was matter of ""angles and commom sense "". This two factors were not present . They were working slappy and messy, matter fact the work came WRONG and they had to go buy more material and redo it. Finally the work was accomplished and they left leaving trash and mostly they have ruined the exterior wall of the house with scratches and grease and brackets were installed crooked . I paid the asked price ,asking for the invoice i had to show for the next job . I had to call several times to get the invoice, which finally came with a different price (less of course) . It was good for my purpose, but i called to get e new invoice with the right price. Never heard from them again. Soo professional LOL.
I ll never call him again.

Had plumber come out to access needs. Told me it would be 8 hrs. A d he'd call back in two days with schedule. Two days later I didn't hear from him nor the next nor the next. Called and texted. Company ghosted me. Won't return call

My sinks were backed up & I called another plumber & it would have been 3 days before they could come out. I called Waterboys & they sent James out that same morning. He wore a mask, had a great sense of humor and got the job done in 1 hour. He made a point to clean up also.
I will definitely use Waterboys again.

We have a Tankless Water Heater. It's instant hot water that never runs out, even when 4 of our grandsons are here and take long showers. Well, after almost 10 years it died. John Mac Guigan, of Water Boys, came to our rescue! He knew all about our somewhat complicated system and was able to install our new Tankless, including special venting, to the satisfaction of Navien (our tankless manufacture) and they issued our warranty. Not only was John knowledgeable, professional & very careful, he's really a nice guy! We love Water Boys Plumbing!

Had an emergency problem that was handled quickly. Waterboys showed up within 30 minutes. They were able to fix the problem and get water back to house quickly. I appreciated not only their promptness, but their working with me to find the most economical option.

Our Mom passed away and in order to sell her house we needed to hook up to municipal sewer system in Los Osos quickly. Our realtor called Waterboys Plumbing. They got the permits and took care of everything. They disconnected the septic tank, hooked up the sewer all within a couple of weeks. Excellent, fast, dependable, and convenient since I didn't have to drive down from Northern Cal to take care of this. Would highly recommend them.
