I contacted this company thru Angie's List. I was also contacted by a woman in their office to set up the appointment at my Oakdale home for a collapsing cesspool and was given a 2-3 p.m. appt time. Called the day of the appointment to confirm and was asked by the gentleman on the phone if the ""tech had contacted me"", and at that time he had not. He eventually called me and explained that he was running a little late due to an emergency job he was on and I responded that was fine and asked when he anticipated arriving to my home. He proceeded to tell me that ""maybe he could access the problem over the phone"". I told him the cesspool was collapsing and would need someone to come to my home, look at the job and give me pricing to fill the old and install new cesspools. At that point, he simply told me that the job would be ""about $10,000"", without setting foot on the property. I told him that was no way to do business and hung up. I call their office and spoke with the gentleman I originally spoke to and although he told me he was sorry for the technician's response, I told him that his tech was rude and short and just three $$$$ at me and I would not be calling his company again. After reading some of the reviews left here, I see that they are not a company anyone likes to deal with. Mrs. W - in Oakdale

hired them through home advisor. I would not recommend them. I had a new burner installed by them. they hooked the thermostats up backwards, bent the oil line and at first told me they do not touch oil lines. have tried to get them to come and figure out why my house was not over 63 degrees during the cold snap. Could not get them to return calls. And when they finally did they never showed up apparently the warranty they give isn't worth the paper its written on Ron F.

Hired this company through home advisor. Showed up on time and completed the service. I needed an oil burner cleaning/maintenance and the system bled. Cleaning maintenance was quoted at $175 with a 5% senior citizen discount which I thought was fair plus any additional service required. I asked when I made the appointment if they took AMEX and they did. I don't know what their labor charge per hour is but I was charged $150 for bleeding the system which I think is excessive. If anything, it required an extra hour of time no parts needed. Then I was told there was a ""credit card fee"" which if I had been told upfront I would have been ok with. So even assuming an hourly labor fee of 75-100/hr I feel like I was overcharged between 50-75 plus the $11 credit card fee. Caveat emptor!

Caller to get an estimate to tap into existing gas and run a 4 ft line for the oven. I also had 4 valves that were leaking that needed to be changed. After the tech looked around he came up from my basement and told me the price was 1800 just for the gas line?!!! I laughed told him he could leave. He took his things and left then came back up to my door about 5 minutes later and tells me he can do everything for 1500. Needless to say I was a repeat customer and now I will never call again. I had the work completed today for a total of $800. Yes they were estimating 1000 over what I should have been paying.

Has been a nightmare since they came into my home. The tech was more concerned with selling me a new system that was not needed than actually repairing my system. They took parts from my heater over a week ago after informing they did not want to do the repair I requested what they took back. It has been 3 days and I still do not have my property back. I am completely disgusted and now it is going to cost me more to have my heat fixed since I have parts missing.

We recently had our guest bathroom remodeled by Water Works and we couldn't be happier! After getting several quotes, we went with WWP & HVAC. They gave us great advice and were very accommodating to help keep the costs down. The demolition and rebuild went quickly, and the crew cleaned up every day. The job was finished on time and on budget and we love our guest bath. We have recommended them to all of our friends.....thanks again guys!!

Dishonest and shameful! First day they diagnosed incorrectly and charged me $1,150 for a part that wan't needed. I was okay with that as people make mistakes. They told me how the guy was fired and argued with the boss. What I find disturbing is when Master plumber Mike (he referred to himself as that with his 30 years experience) told me that I needed a $3,200 oil tank installed and my heat would come back on. The things he said from the sludge to water didn't add up. I started asking around and got a second opinion. The other company walked in turned a dial and my heat has been perfect ever since. They told me the temperature range was turned down so low that of course the heat wouldn't turn back on. Water Works sent techs over and not one figured out that it was the temperature range. They told me I needed a whole new oil tank, not furnace, but a tank. The second opinion told me this was a scam. They said that my hot water heater was working great so the oil was getting there. So if there was sludge and too much water in the oil tank then the hot water heater wouldn't work either. Next they said that Water Works should have never have left the house without heat in such cold conditions especially with kids and pets. They said a 5 gallon drum or even a bucket of oil should have been hooked up to give heat and to actually make sure that the furnace was working properly to assure that it was actually a tank issue. None of this was done over the course of the 4 days I had no heat. I texted and called and was told they would speak to the owner and get back to me. Nobody did. The secretary is the owner's wife and the tech is the uncle. She told me she had to wait and talk to the boss about this. Shameful way to treat people!

10/30 - A technician installed pilot assembly on my domestic hot water heater.
10/31 - Nationalgrid closed off the gas valve to the D.H.W.H. after finding a gas leak on pilot tubing.
11/01 - Water Works technician came to make repairs to the pilot tubing and he turned the gas valve back on.
11/02 - Nationalgrid came back for the second time for the same gas leak and closed off the gas valve.
11/02 - Water Works tech came by to intimidate me to take down the review I posted on HomeAdvisor before starting any repairs on my D.H.W.H.

11/02 - Two technicians from Water Works came back later in the evening and replaced the whole gas
assembly.

Note: Water Works was more concerned of the review I had posted on HomeAdvisor than the welfare of my family!

Water Works technician put my whole family in danger of losing our lives by leaving a leaky gas line on the hot water heater without checking for gas leaks after his repairs. When he was leaving while the whole house reek of gas, he said the gas smell will fade away in time. The gas smell never went away, so I called Water Works the next day, no response. Couple hours later, I called Nationalgrid, they came within an hour and found a leaky pilot tubing on a newly installed pilot assembly. Nationalgrid inspector closed the gas to the domestic hot water heater.

Response by Water Works Plumbing + HVAC: Mrs. Yasso, We returned today, turned the unit back on and found absolutely no gas leak. We purged the system which let out some gas and we had told you when we left about this, but none came out after that - had you left windows open it would of dissipated. Never would we leave a job where there was an active gas leak, EVER. I called National Grid, they admitted they did no testing, but when you said that you had work done on your heater they closed it off as a precautionary. Please remove this review as it is simply not accurate. And just as a side note - we beat the other companies you had in there by 100s of dollars as well for the same job. I scheduled an appointment with Water Works via the HomeAdvisor portal. I was informed by Amber that a technician would be at the home between noon and 2 pm. I was at the house and contacted them for an update. I was advised that the tech was running late and could not make it till 1:40 pm. At that time, no technician arrived and I received no update regarding him being late. I called the office again and was told that the tech had came to the house and no one was there. We informed her that I was home with multiple other people as well and no tech had ever arrived. She called the tech who then told her he was running late again and would arrive at 4 pm. We waited until 4 pm and still did not receive and update. We called for the last time and was informed he couldn't make it and was going to be late. At this point, I requested for my appointment to be cancelled since they wasted enough of time. I refuse to do business with a company that does not value the customers time and provides false information when calling for status updates.

I got 2 things to be repaired: a leaking pipe and malfunctioning heater. I got matched with this company on Home Advisor and made appointment for 12-2 block. Their guy Tim showed up on time at 2.

He took a look at the leaking pipe and the heater. His estimate for the pipe was $350, while other people range from $100 to $175. So I said I would call him back. Then this guy suddenly asked for service charge of $89.

I had talked to the office in the morning and was clearly told the estimate is free. I explained that to Tim, and offered him $20 for the visit, but he insisted on the $89. I rejected, then he repeated ""you shouldn't treat people like this"" with angry, threatening face.

All he did was look at the pipe and heater for 5 minutes.

I called the office while he was still here, but he left before I was connected to somebody. The lady who answered apologized and confirmed that the estimate is free, and she would tell her boss.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody.
