After years of working with various contractors, I decided in 2004 it was time to launch my own business. I was driven by a desire to be my own boss and aimed to offer top-tier plumbing services. With the ongoing support of my local clients, I have been serving the community for 11 years and still going strong!
As I continue to plumb, I realize how vital plumbing is in our modern world. Many of us overlook the luxury of accessible running water and functional toilets... until they fail. If plumbing fails, our lives are disrupted. So, while humor about plumbers may continue, there is no one more essential than the plumber at your door when the plunger won’t clear the toilet.

Will is fantastic! He is accommodating, honest and helpful. I contacted him about a small hole in a copper pipe from my main waterline to my bathroom. He came out that same day to take a look and let me know he could fix it. He fixed it quickly and affordably. Then, a few weeks later when my home insurance required a written statement in order to provide coverage, Will not only spoke with my home insurance on the phone, but also came by my home to provide me with the written statement. He went out of his way to help me, when he had already finished the repair. I am incredibly grateful and plan to contact Will again for all my plumbing needs--he's not just a great plumber, he's a good person as well.

Water heater busted. Standard. Will checked it out. No BS. He was back a day later and had a new 50-gallon beast installed in a few hours. We're calling him again.

My older Bosch tankless water heater was failing and I did some research for local plumbers who were experienced in installing them. I came across Will Bergren's company, Water Works, and after looking at the excellent reviews on Yelp, I gave him a call. He came over to look at the situation and gave me a lot of information on what I needed to do and recommended a Noritz heater to replace the Bosch. I had looked at a less expensive Japanese brand, but Will convinced me Noritz was the way to go. He quoted a price for installation and the heater and I told him I would get back to him. I had checked some other companies, but they all quoted higher prices. Then a few days before Thanksgiving the Bosch completely failed, so there was no hot water and I decided to call Will. He said he could pick up the Noritz and install it that Wednesday. Will and his assistant came as scheduled, removed the old heater, reconfigured the piping and gas line, and installed the Noritz in a little more than half a day so I had hot water just in time for the holiday. Will and his assistant were professional and did a great job with the installation. I'm also glad I followed Will's recommendation on heaters because the Noritz is a major improvement over the Bosch; it's more efficient and heats water a lot faster, and it takes up less space. I was a little hesitant at first because these units are pricey, but after using it now for the last few weeks, I think it has definitely been worth it. I was also happy to find a skilled professional who is local and who takes obvious pride in his work and I would recommend Will to anyone looking for expert plumbing services.

I selected Water Works Plumbing based on all the good Yelp reviews. BIG mistake. Our master bath toilet was running constantly and I was concerned about a leak. I contacted Water Works, spoke with Will, and scheduled a time for the repair. He showed up when he agreed to and was pleasant. He said I had a fill valve that was worn out and was sticking. He quoted me $20 for the part at $165 for the service call. Steep, but I wanted to get this dealt with before departing on a business trip. Roughly 30 min later he and his unnamed assistant declared the problem fixed. He warned me that I might also need to replace the flush valve, and that this was a part he didn't have on hand for my American Standard toilet model. I said I'd keep an eye on it and paid him.
Flash forward a couple of hours later when I went to use the toilet. The flush system (which worked just fine before), suddenly didn't work. I had to raise the tank lid to manually trigger the flush. This caused the water to fill into the tank, and keep on coming. It was just pouring into the bowl and not raising the tank level. With visions of a horrific water bill during a drought, I texted Will. He said I needed to get the flush valve replaced. Oh, and I could just Google the parts for him since he didn't have them on hand. This is on a Friday night (he's closed the next two days) and I'm trying to leave on a business trip. Oh, and now I get to source the parts for the plumber. In the meantime, I had to shut the water flow off to my now non-functioning, $185 ""repaired"" toilet.
The next morning I looked a the tanks of all three toilets in the house (all the same model) and made an interesting discovery. On both toilets Will didn't touch, there were additional parts to the flush valve assembly. On my ""fixed"" toiled, these parts were now missing. And, these weren't small parts. It looks like the floater element that shuts the valve off with the water flow is suddenly gone from my ""fixed"" toilet that now needs a new valve. Interesting, isn't it?
Save yourself money and aggravation and DO NOT use Water Works Plumbing.

Will Bergren came to our house when we had a problem with our water heater. Will came that day, explained what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. He was honest and straightforward and took the time to explain it to us. I will definitely call him the next time I have a plumbing problem!

Being a new home owner, I've learned the hard way that there are people out there who know what they are doing and those that don't. Will knows what he is doing and I am greatly relieved to have met him.
I first met Will when I needed help with a hot water heater. A home warranty company sent two different plumbers to replace my water heater and both of them installed it incorrectly, leaving me with a potential hazard, no hot water, and a headache. After inane conversations with the home warranty people, I decided not to deal with them and went on Yelp and found Will. He arrived on time and assessed what needed to be done, given that the water heater is in a small interior closet space. He installed the water heater correctly, taking into consideration some details the other guys missed, and it works great.
When I needed to replace two older toilets, I called Will. He came over on-time and advised me what brands might suit my needs within my budget. After replacing both toilets, one of the toilets later started to leak from the tank. Will was very responsive and came back promptly, without any hassle. Upon close inspection, the tank was found to have a slight defect, which allowed water to leak out. He replaced the tank and now I have two well-functioning toilets.
The thing about Will is that I trust him to not only be a competent and knowledgeable plumber, but to be fair and honest, which is a huge relief when dealing with home repair stuff.

Will was awesome! I called him for an estimate, he beat all competitors pricing and did the work that day. I will be recommending him to everyone. Thanks again Will!

Waterworks plumbing was recommended by my neighbor who had his main line replaced after his collapsed a year ago. My main line had been clogging frequently (every 3 months) for the past year or so, so I called Will to come out and run a camera to see what was going on. I have been snaking it for about 8 years so have a pretty good idea of what's going on. I found Will to be very clear and honest as to what the problem was and all the possible options for repair. He clearly explained each option and the pros and cons of each.
Even though I am a intermediate plumber and capable for doing a lot of plumbing jobs myself, I'm happy to have found Will for the jobs I cannot do. His number is now programmed into my mobile phone and I will not hesitate to call him when necessary!
I would recommend him to anyone.

All of my drains stopped up and I needed a quick fix. I used Yep to find a local, well rated plumber and I came across Water Works. I called and the owner Will came out. He was able to fix my problem and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the phone.
He gave me recommendations for a long term fix. He was a good guy to boot!
I would 100% recommend Will, and I will be using him for all of my future plumbing needs

I am very pleased with the work Will and his assistant just completed at my home in Pleasant Hill. He snaked with a sewer rooter to remove roots in the pipe under my house and cleared the back up. I often have a lot of questions and he was very courteous and patient in answering many of them. His rate is very fair and his work thorough. Will is honest in his evaluation and assessment of the problem. He was on time and prompt on getting the work done. I'm glad to have found a trusted and knowledgeable local plumber.
