I'm glad I found Water Heaters Master on Yelp! as I needed to replace an old water heater.

My initial call to get an estimate was returned within an hour and I scheduled a visit a couple of days later. First questions were answered on the phone by Matthew, who was very knowledgeable and patient to explain what my options were.

The technician arrived a few minutes earlier to my appointment and after a brief conversation on what I was looking for, he started working on the estimates. He was also very patient and explained them to me in detail - one for a regular heater and one for a tankless system.

After I made my decision, I called with a follow up question and scheduled the actual replaced a couple of days later. Calls were always returned quickly and questions were answered satisfactorily. I really appreciated the fact they did not push any particular system or any unnecessary work.

About a week after my first call, I had a new heater installed. Overall, it was a very positive experience! I recommend them!

Thanks Yelpers for leading me to a painless water heater replacement experience! When the water heater at the rental property developed a small leak, Water Heaters Masters was great about communicating with both us and the tenants, and also able to replace the water heater same day though we weren't in a state of emergency yet. The guy on the phone was friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. There's no harm, no foul if you choose to not move forward with a replacement job if they determine on-site the scope of work will be more expensive than quoted over the phone.

Water Heaters Masters is a family-run company and currently holds an A+ rating on BBB. Always love to support good, local folks.

Initially I was looking into getting a water heater from Home Depot because of previous positive experiences with getting a washer and refrigerator from there (with free delivery/install!) In the Concord area, Home Depot subcontracts the installation to Faster Water Heater Company, which has mixed reviews on Yelp and cannot be found on BBB.

Some quick notes in comparison to Home Depot and Lowes:
* Info from Water Heaters Masters: They use commercial-grade water heaters that are higher quality than products found at Home Depot or Lowes. Warranty covers a replacement of the entire unit rather than pro-rated store credit. They won't charge a ""city permit fee"" if the water heater is something already existing at the property. Home Depot and Lowes pull permits for everything (so I'm told), and this process requires you to make an appointment with the city for a post-install inspection.
* Water Heaters Masters' quote was higher than Fast Water Heater Company (Home Depot), however it may be comparing apples with oranges. Faster Water Heater Co. may up their quote to bring the property ""up to code"", however Water Heaters Masters replaces all parts (water flex lines, etc., leading to heating unit) as part of the standard install as this unit may be good for the next decade.
* Lowes was out of the question because of their complex billing - billed for water heater and ""standard install"" up front before anyone went on-site to see the setup, and billed again for any differences.

Excellent service! They came same day and didn't haggle over price. The price quoted on the phone was the price we paid, unlike the company we called before this one! Brian installed the new water heater and was extremely courteous and polite. Highly recommended!

Water Heater Master is a trust worthy company. Knowing nothing about this project, I checked all resources from Lowes, Home Depot and Sears. I also checked bunch other contractors. Some of them quoted me a ""depends"" price, some of them added over $400 for Accessaries.

When I talked to Matt from Water Heater Company, he gave me a straight quote which has no hidden cost.

Brian who installed the water heater for me came on time the next morning, and did a professional installation. He is very expericed and he checked the details which I wouldn't even pay attention to.

Overall, I rate this company five star.

My water heater started leaking the other day. I was not sure who to call,.... so I started looking on Yelp. I found this company and I am so glad I did! They came out the next day, he had the work completed under the 2 1/2 hours he first estimated. Brian did a great job! He got right to work and was very professional and clean with his work and removal of my old water heater tank. Thank you Brian.

My neighbor's water heater failed and I decided to also replace mine, since we
bought them at the same time. Rather be safe than sorry...
I read all of the reviews on Water Heaters Masters and was very impressed.
He arrived right on time and the price quoted was the price charged. He even did some extra work for both of us, at no extra charge.

I've never done a Yelp review before, but these guys are great! I needed a water heater because my 17 year old one had a disintegrating dip tube and it was time. the owner (Mathew) talked to me about options and gave me a reasonable price on a 75 gallon model. Along the way, he talked me out of a more expensive tankless type which he also sells because I have a continuous circulation system to my master bedroom and the tankless would have to run all the time. We scheduled for the next morning. The technician (Robbie) was right on time to, drain, disconnect and remove the old hulk, with his ""helper"" (the other owner whose name I didn't get) arriving slightly later with the actual new water heater and the extra hand needed to get it into the closet. All connection fittings were brand new....water, gas, and circ pump, and they modified the drain system so the entire house could be flushed backwards through the circ pump to get rid of all the white plastic bits from the old dip tube. The complete job took about 2 1/2 hours.
