Scott was such a big help! I reached out to have a ventilation inspection of my water heater because I kept smelling gas in the WH closet. He listened as I described the problem, asked for photos to diagnose, and then offered to come out and inspect in person. When he came out, he was very patient with me. He inspected the machine, did a precautionary gas leak test and even inspected my attic to assess for future installation options. Even though my water heater installation was not standard, he didn't push me to make a change now since there is no current problem. He spent time to explain my options for the future. I haven't experience customer service like this in a long time, I will definitely call them back if I ever need help with my Water Heater! Thank you so much Scott!

Our water started running cold, and I messaged Water Heater Wiz for a quote. Scott responded very quickly and we made an appointment for the next day. He came right on time and we figured out that my water heater is 25 years old. I was considering a maintenance/repair, at this point we decided it was time to replace the water heater. We discussed different sizes and warranties , and I picked what I thought was best for us.

We made an appointment for two days later, and again Scott showed up right on time. When trying to set the drain hose, the faucet fell off, and we had a little water snafu. The piece was completely deteriorated, so this could've easily happened anytime. I'm thankful now that it happened when I had the pro here and that we replaced the water heater.

Scott got the water under control and then he and his brother put in the new water heater. Scott took the extra time and effort to clean up all the water and get everything as dry as possibleHe even went back and cleaned our floor where they walked in and out.


So far, we are very happy with our new American Standard water heater, and the extra size that is making it very comfortable I have already referred Water Heater Wiz to a friend.

We noticed our water heater went out around 9a yesterday. PG&E came out a few hours later to try and relight our pilot light and it just wouldn't stay lit. Called around a few places and after discussing our issue with Scott, we knew this company was the right choice to do a full replacement at our request - the heater was so old we didn't want to waste money delaying the inevitable. He was knowledgeable, spending the time to educate us on our options and helped us understand the upcoming work to be done.

They were at our home within about an hour, keeping us in the loop the entire time. They brought us up to code when we had no idea we weren't. Price was exactly at another company's quote, who said that was ""the lowest we'd find."" Overall, super efficient, respectful, clean work, and we had hot water as soon as the tank was able to refill and reheat! Can't thank them enough for their great service - highly recommend!

Scott was so professional and supportive. My pilot light went out and he came within a few hours and more importantly I wanted to make sure that everything was OK. After spending quite a bit of time looking at my water heater and Relighting the pilot, he discuss three options for an alternative to the system that I had. Best of all he didn't charge me for the visit, which I think is rare in today's day and age. Highly recommend.

100% happy with these guys. Small business. Honest work. They'll go over the pros and cons on the different types of water heaters and why they prefer one over the other but perfectly happy to put in the water heater of your choice.

Our water heater had gone out but they were willing to come out that day after their last job to give us an estimate. They returned in the morning and put in our new water heater and removed the old one (and the outdated solar one that was just sitting there). They flushed all the lines. FYI, if you're in an old house with rusty pipes, make sure you flush the bigger faucets first.

They guarantee their work for the same length as the manufacturer's warrantee. Scott went over maintenance with us and left us with a nice big sticker with their phone number. Told us to call for any questions or concerns.

Oh, and they quoted us less than three other companies we had called. $2,100 total.
