I'm not usually into writing reviews but the experience my wife and I have had with the service from Shane at Water Doctors in Chehalis really demands it. We bought a property in Port Townsend that had its own well and water purification system. The property had not been occupied for 2 1/2 years and so we were somewhat concerned when we saw it had a room of water purification equipment. The local pump guy told us the system wasn't really needed and wanted us the take it out and replace it with their system. We had tests taken and it turns out that the equipment was all necessary to remove iron and manganese from a 300 foot deep well. Long story short, we had Water Doctor come out and do tests directly from the pump and after the filtration and Water softening. The results were remarkably different. Shane explained the difference in filters and technologies employed, and why each part if the system had been added. We were concerned that with the distance between Chehalis and Port Townsend that service of the system would be a problem. Not at all. He explained the periodic maintenance we would need to keep the system running smoothly, put together a notebook labeled all the parts and explained everything in such detail we are very close comfortable in our ability to maintain it flawlessly. He even showed up on a Saturday on his own time to put in a valve he thought might make our system easier to maintain. I don't think anyone could have made a complicated system (whole house reverse osmosis, ceramic filter, sand filter, water softener, 1 micron filters) more maintenance free than Shane did with us. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in a remote area needing advanced water treatment for their property.

We've Kinetico systems for years (in two different locations with different types of water). This particular system we are using now has served us well. Needing to change the filter and having an odd schedule (not available during their business hours) I was driving by & saw the serviceman loading his van for the day (it was early) I stopped in to see if he could help me out with filters. He promptly ran into the office (which was closed) and arranged for me to get my filters! Thank you SO MUCH!! :).

Initially I was totally let down by this company- I expected a lot after paying more than $6000 for a whole house system and reverse osmosis. Our system kept giving us salty foaming water, and it took 3 customer service visits to figure out it was a faulty head that needed to be replaced. Thank you to Shane who persevered in this situation and figured it out. Next, our RO system stopped suddenly- didn't slow down and stop- just stopped. Turns out we needed new filters- 2 days before a big house party- and I was not able to drive to Chehalis. My only option was to pay $90 for shipping overnight- It took several calls and writing to the Kinetco HQ to resolve the situation - finally Water DR manager called me and offered to send Shane up to bring and install new filters- and the manager was apologetic for the attitude of the Customer service person- who was most unfriendly and not willing to find any way to help me get the situation resolved. I am editing my original review to be an average review-- there is much the Water Doctor could do to improve the customer's experience. Educate the customer up front, offer a service plan, offer your customer the opportunity to purchase an extra set of filters when you install the system. Since Home Depot markets Kinetco- it would be great if we could go to Home Depot to get replacement filters.

We've had this system for 15 years and it has been trouble free and our appliances, bathroom fixtures have stayed white without iron deposits. Mike our service rep comes every other month and changes filters and spin downs plus just an over check up. He is very polite and a pleasure to work with. We have recommend the Water Doctor system to many of our friends.
We rate them 5 stars on service and ratings.

I have been a Water Doctor customer for about 10 years now. All of my experience with them has been very positive. They are responsive, knowledgeable , and friendly. A representative delivers salt and a filter, changes the filter and double checks to system function. The filter system does a great job of taking iron out of my well water and provides me with good-tasting drinking water.

We have used Water Doctor since we bought our house 4 years ago. The system works great as we have clean filtered soft water. The guys that come are always neet a clean. Our next door neighbor asked me what system we used and I recommend the Water Doctor. They have had their system for over a year now and they are as happy as we are. On time and very reasonably priced for great service and clean fresh water.
