Recommended Customer Reviews
I tried to get service from them and it just did not work out. I was very disappointed with their customer liaison and openness to customer opinions. I could never recommend them. I see by their reviews that they are the lowest rated, had I known that I would have rejected my warranty company.
No stars! We had 2 water valves changed, one under the kitchen sink and one for an outdoor hose. We were quoted $789.00 and offered senior citizen discount that brought to ""$666.00"". Subsequently after talking to a builder we were informed that job should have cost $150-200 at most. Beware!
I received ""so-called"" service from one of this company's plumbers who didn't know a hole from his head. He didn't even have the tools to complete the job and had to borrow my tools to use. He was completely unprofessional and was more worried about telling me his personal life stories than actually doing the job. The problem is way worse than before he worked on it and my home is getting ruined because of these idiots. Do not use their services. Save your money and find a better company!!!!!
*UPDATE: My partner also just told me that during a conversation they had upon first meeting, he was telling one of his stories and called the person in the story a nigger. Little did he know that I am african american and I am highly offended by this. The plumber and company have been reported to Home Serve, which is the company that sub-contracted them.
Laurie K.I have been using Warhold both personally and for clients for several years. They are professional, honest, & provide great service. I highly recommend them!
Maurice J.First off if I could give this place a zero I wouldn't be able to hit the buttons fast enough. This outfit came out to my house to assess a leak on one of my central air units. To make a long story short my unit requires R22 in which I was told that they don't make anymore and wanted to charge me $200 per pound to put in after the leak was fixed. I needed 7 pounds. So $1,400 to fill it up or pay $1900 for a new unit. Other places charge $100. Fine, but I was never told that a replacement coolant could be used called 407a at $25 per pound. Through that other company, my unit was pressure tested to which the only leak that was found was because the nut on a fitting was loose, they charged me $200 total to tighten and nut and fill it with coolant. I wouldn't recommend this place to satan himself. I almost got ripped off by these guys!
Our home warranty company assigned them to us. Within minutes of the request being opened, they called to schedule and had availability the next day. Communication through automated text messages worked well and they arrived early within the promised window, wearing masks which I appreciated. Diagnosed and fixed the problem. It's too bad we're not in their regular service area, I would use them again.
Andrea M.On time, under budget! We were matched with them through our home warranty company for a plumbing repair that another plumber had recently bungled. Brandon showed up to look at it first, and he diagnosed the problem right away as being a failing soil stack. They worked with my home warranty company to get the repair covered, and we didn't have to do a single thing except schedule the appointment! Two techs showed up right when they said they would, and got to work. They opened up the walls, and preserved as much of the original baseboard and plaster and lath as they could- it's an old home, and I'm glad they appreciated that. They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and even pointed out a few issues that I am going to have to have fixed eventually. And they all had no trouble wearing masks! I'd 100% hire these guys again!
Alan F.I got matched with them through a furnace repair program I pay on a monthly basis when it suddenly wasn't keeping-up to the set temperature as it always has. I called the ""800"" number for the program & the agent told me that Warhold would be the ones to take a look. I had never heard of them, but there are a lot of such companies, so that didn't matter. I did however find their website & it appears that my area isn't part of their service area, which again, maybe they hadn't updated it lately or they may make exceptions. It was evening & I didn't expect anything until the next day.
Promptly at 7:00am I was awoken by the phone next to my bed - it was a Warhold scheduler calling to set an appointment. He offered 10:00am - 12:00pm, which was fine since that night was forcast to fall to about twelve degrees.
At 9:45am the doorbell rang & the technician arrived. Truthfully I was guessing he'd arrive at the later end of the time window, maybe making a call at a customer somewhere between their base in Irwin & Gibsonia, where I'm at. I was going to move the cars out of the garage soon, as that's where the access steps to the furnace are & I wanted to give him a wider path to carry tools & any necessary parts. But he was patient & moved his truck so I could do this.
The problem turned out to be minor, a dirty componet was the cause & a quick fix. The furnace is back to working as it has before that day. I greatly appreciate their prompt attention to schedule my repair & get to it, especially as someone who had no prior history with them.
Amalia A.Hi,
I don't write reviews in general, but I wanted to tell that AHS (a home warranty that has proven to be amazing) and Warhol Mechanicals in particular (I know them because AHS) exceed expectations. I have called them several times because I live in an old house and their service has been outstanding. Today Warhol Mechanicals, (the heating company) performed an exceptional job finding a broken pipe that was conveniently hidden by the previous owner of this house... This pipe has caused a great damage in all the walls of a part of my current home, but they found it :) Now I need only to file a claim to the previous owner, but that's another story...
Thanks again for the help of Warhol Mechanicals.
Ama
If I could give ZERO stars I would.
It's sad that a customer has to complain for the owner or manager of a company to realize his employees were incompetent. This company visited our home and continued to charge us without finding a leak for more than a year. It should never take any technician four times to find a leak, and if this company were reputable, wouldn't you think they would review each visit and realize either to send someone else, or have someone assist the employees if they are consistently being called to a home for the same issue?
Chad tried to then explain to me on the phone that their process after not being able to find the leak the first time around is to put leak seal in the line, and refill the Freon. And if called out for a second time for the same issue, that they resolve the problem then, which wasn't the case. They just kept coming out and saying that they couldn't find the leak and just kept charging us for Freon. The worst part is that they weren't even aware, the customer should never have to complain to a company about an ongoing issue, the company should review our record before calling us and haggling about a poor review. Reviews are based on service, period.
