UPDATE: It looks like there was a glitch on my iPhone, so I'm restoring my original positive review until I can talk to these folks after Xmas. A bunch of voice mails loaded on my phone at some point in the last day or so, and I see that Ward tried to call me twice and left voice mails both times. I was also having problems with text messages being delayed right around that same time. My phone wasn't even listing the missed calls when they happened! What a mess!

My wife and I needed a licensed plumber to install a whole home water filtration system in our new house. Our realtor recommended Doug, the owner of Ward's Plumbing. I called Doug and asked if he could help us. He said he could, clarifying that he could likely do it the following Monday. He asked that we text him the make and model of the water filtration system and said he would let us know when he could come install it. I texted Doug the informatoon he requested as soon as we hung up. I told my wife we had found someone who could help and that he was going to let us know when he could install the system. Unfortunately, we did not hear from Doug. And when I texted in follow up, he responded, tersely, that he ""had to take a pass thx for calling."" If there was a legitimate reason for Doug's 180--indeed there may have been-- Doug couldn't give us the courtesy of any explanation. He added ""not interested thx."" So, if you're looking for a business that is run by a gentleman who isn't interested in helping you in his field of expertise, who doesn't extend to a potential customer the courtesy of an explanation for his about face, and more generally conducts business in the manner reflected above, then Doug, owner of Ward's Plumbing, may be your guy.

I was referred to Ward's Hydro-Vac & Plumbing by another unit owner in my building. I called and spoke to Tammy who was able to get me scheduled that week (next day, but I went with the following day). On the day of, Kevin came to see what was going on with our toilet flushing slow and a slow leak coming from the base. He was able to diagnose the issue and explain it all to us with helpful tips. He had it repaired quickly and diligently. I would recommend Kevin for your plumbing needs. Very honest and up front about pricing before work started, and knowledgeable/easy to work with.

I just love Ward Plumbing and the owner Doug! They have been so reliable to me and all the properties I manage. When we are in a bind, they're always coming through! Their plumbers are extremely knowledgeable and professional as well.

I called at 6:30am for a last minute plumbing emergency. Talked to Tammy, who confirmed through a follow up phone call that the owner, Doug, would be able to come service my condo that day from 12pm-4pm. She gave me his number just in case. I texted Doug at 1pm and followed up with a phone call an hour later, leaving a message requesting confirmation of my appointment that day, as I had taken off work and was sitting around waiting all day. No response.
I called the office again around 3pm and talked to Tammy, who said that ""this has never happened before"" (check the other 1 star Yelp review... it has happened before) and that she would call the crews to see where I was in the lineup. She never called me back, so I called her again and she said that she couldn't get in touch with anyone and that she would try again. She called back and said that she didn't know I hadn't been serviced yet or she would have sent a crew out to me. She then told me to call Doug, and that he was expecting my phone call. I called him, and to no one's surprise... no response. I called Tammy back and asked her to PLEASE (yes, I was desperate and I basically begged her to please be responsive) pass my phone number to him and to have him call me.

I haven't heard from anyone since. Shocker.

If you're looking for an unreliable company that will just ghost you, this company is the right one for you! Extremely unprofessional, especially given the fact I was supposed to be dealing with the oWnEr. I strongly recommend you take your money to a company that respects their customers' time and is courteous enough to at least respond to texts and phone calls.

Solid, knowledgeable and responsible plumber. Has solved some issues in my new (40 year old) home and rates have been reasonable.

Called on a Monday to see when they could come and clean out kitchen drain that was really backed up. They said they could do it between 12 and 4 pm on Wednesday. I stayed home from work to make this happen.
No one called or came by 3:50 pm so I called them and the woman who answered couldn't believe they hadn't come yet and said she will find out what happened.
It's now 4:05, so 5 minutes after the 4 hour window. Plumber calls me and tells me he has all his guys on a big project that will take 3-4 more hours. I asked him why no one called me to let me know an emergency came up and I'd have to reschedule. I also told him I can't take off another day of work. They were extremely inconsiderate and not accommodating and disrespectful. DO NOT get your plumbing done here.

Our association referred this company to my landlord, who hired them to fix a fast leaking garbage disposal.

The technician showed up on time and was fast and efficient. In total, the job took 15 minutes and our garbage disposal was running right and showed no signs of a leak.

On time and 15 minutes to fix a plumbing issue = 5 stars in my book. I would definitely recommend Ward's.

Great customer service from the folks here. I had an issue with my kitchen sink, they sent someone out to confirm the issue, allowed me to buy the part I needed myself to save some cash, then came back to install it. Will happily use again for any future plumbing issues.

They blew me off twice, told me they'd be by after noon two days in a row and never showed up. Stay away if you want anything done quickly!
