This is a less than mediocre plumber named Walt who is behaves badly. He is very difficult to communicate with and will readily insult you especially if you are a woman. There are plenty of good plumbers around here. No reason to resort to this guy. People should be more honest about the way he really is. Horrible.

We have used Walt a number of times in the last 20 years. We put up with all his un-solicited political opinions because he did good work and was fair. This last time is the last time I will call him. He unplugged our main drain for $100 which was ok. I asked him to look at the bathroom sink drain. He said it was ok but charged me $100 dollars for doing nothing other than running a little water down the drain. This was a ripoff.

Affordable and honest work. This is a one man business and Walt charges the most fair out of every other plumbing companies that charges ridiculous minimums 100-250 without doing any work. Walt is old school but he gets the work done at the lowest cost. He helped cleared up a clogged sink pipe for me and replaced a cracked cap for less than $130. If you are not in rush and on budget, then Walt is your guy. If you need a scheduler and can afford to pay high dollars, then he is not your guy.

Walt came out and fixed the clog in our sink ina jiffy and put back the pipes I took off and replaced one of the at cost.
He's pretty busy but if you can get him to come out, you will save money.
He does not take credit cards

He's an incredibly skilled, honest, reliable plumber. Sure, he's his own person. He's old school. A bit hard to understand at times. His scheduling is unconventional. Overlook those small thing because you've got a pro's pro.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Beware of Walt's Plumbing : UNSAFE. The guy (Walt?) showed up at my door without being properly masked. When I asked him to cover his nose, he responded that he then would not be able to see. When I insisted, he basically just walked out the door and got verbally abusive.

It's important for both of us to ensure our mutual safety. I did my part; he didn't do his.

Do NOT support this behavior on the part of vendors. STAY SAFE

Both kitchen and bathroom bathtub blocked. Tried all sorts of means myself and even rented the power drain cleaner from Home Depot. But the block is too deep. Walt came on time, quickly fixed the issue. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I found Walt through Next Door from neighborhood referrals. I needed to get the master bath toilet wax seal fixed after seeing a leak in the front of the toilet. I planned to initially try to fix it myself, which was on Saturday, but the bolts holding the toilet down were rusted and I didn't have the right tools so I decided to call Walt. He answered his phone that same day and said he'll call me back during the week when he would be available to see where I was at. Walt is certainly a very interesting character, but he's professional and really knows what he's doing. After multiple back and forth calls during the week until Friday morning, I couldn't get a firm timeframe from him so felt like looking for another plumber. After calling a couple different plumbers who had no appointments until 2-3 weeks out, I got a call back from Walt and he was able to come over just before noon. After less than an hour and a half, he got it fixed and at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely call Walt again if I have any plumbing issues in the future. He's not like a typical business and is very old school so you'll need to be prepared for that. If you initially go through a similar experience as mine, be patient as he will call you back when he has a moment as he's very busy on jobs.

Old school plumber who answers his own phone calls. Set same day appointment and he was at my door within an hour. Rates are more than reasonable.

I really think Walt is the last honest, no time wasting, very reasonably price tradesperson on the Eastside.
Have used him several times and cannot recommend Walt enough.
