Today we had a severe water leak in our utility room ceiling. I immediately called Walt's Plumbing and spokewith Reagan. She arranged to have Kevin come to our home within 30 minutes. My husband and I were so appreciative of having Kevin
come out so quickly. He assessed the problem and started working on repairing the leak. Needless to say, he saved us from having to have major ceiling repairs. Kevin is very professional and trustworthy. We will always recommend Walt's Plumbing.

WESTERN STATES PLUMBING dba WALTS PLUMBING. Kevin completed job in (1) hour. After he left I noticed on the bill that I was charged for (2) hours. I called the office to ask why I was was charged two hours instead of (1). The lady who answered the phone seemed upset because I asked that question. She ask me if I felt I was overcharged and I responded ""Yes!"" Anytime you charge someone for an hour that you did not work, it is considered an overcharge! She said, ""well we do have to charge travel time""! I said $90 an hour for travel time she said yes. The bill stated labor and not travel. I felt if that's the case make it known upfront and itemize it on the bill!!!

One point I should add is that Walt's original quote to me was based on pictures that I sent him and a previous plumber who said that the tile enclosure on tub would have to be opened up and repaired. Since that was not the case, all Kevin had to do was replace two stems on the tub and one stem on the faucet and diagnose another faucet. The job took him approximately 45 minutes to complete, write my invoice and he was out of my house in less than (1) hr. This was not a (2) hour job as they had assumed, however it seems that WESTERN STATES PLUMBING dba WALTS PLUMBING was set on charging me for (2) regardless. Maybe you have to live in Clovis to get treated right?

KICKER: RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!!! When I communicated that I felt I was overcharged the lady in the office said she would discuss a partial refund with Kevin and asked me to never call them again and slammed the phone in my face.

SUPER KICKER: MEAN & OBNOXIOUS!!! (5) minutes later while I was already writing a review about the my dissatisfaction with this experience, this Joker Kevin comes to the door and dumps $100 refund on my front door mat. As I approach the door he is getting in his truck and he yells, ""PICK UP YOUR S**T!!! Get cursed out in front of my neighbors, phone slammed in my face all because of THEIR lack of integrity & THEIR unwillingness to solve problems in a professional manner. It wasn't even about the money it was about PRINCIPLE!!! Who throws your money on the floor and then curses at you?

When our water heater exploded in the middle of the work day (and caused a lot of damage) we needed to replace our water heater quickly. The first bid, from a place which shall not be named, seemed way too expensive. We called Walt's and it was not only hundreds of dollars less for the same water heater, but he could come that day and install it. We were really happy with Walt's and would call them again for our plumbing needs.

I have been doing business with Walt's Plumbing for years ! It's always been a small shop with attention to service and the Clovis community. I remember when Walt and Floyd Billberry started Walt's Plumbing. Thank you for carrying on with your service and professionalism. My Grand father and Dad always said your reputation is the key.

Started off with a gas smell from the water heater. Another company (I'll call them PBandJ) came out and had to replace the part but had to order it. So no hot water. Seven days later PBandJ showed up with ""GOOD NEWS"" they were replacing the water heater because the part was ""ALMOST AS MUCH AS A NEW HEATER"" the tech just needed to get some info and he'd be back in 3 days to replace. So I called a second company (I'll call them See's Air and Something). They wanted to replace the water heater for a cost of $2,000 and would be back to do the job in a few days.....So I called Walt's aka Western, like they say third time is a charm. Kevin showed up same day assessed the situation replaced the part right then and there then went inside and even cleaned out our clogged sink drain. Couple hundred dollars for the labor and parts. Thank you guys for saving me at least $1800. Can't believe the other guys, See's didn't even look to see if it could be fixed just went straight to the we have to replace speech.

Company also goes by Walt's Plumbing. I have used them twice on two separate occasions and can compare them to three other plumbers in the Fresno-Clovis area. Both times my experience was with Kevin. He is prompt and professional. Work was done to my satisfaction both times, and cost was more than reasonable, particularly when compared to other plumbers used in the Fresno-Clovis area. If I need future repairs, I will definitely use them.

Kevin was friendly attentive and had respect for my home. My hot water heater is nice and new working grate.
